Overall this is an okay read. The ending upset me though.
The reviews saying things like "cliche characters" I don't think is relevant since no matter what genre in anime/manga those are important to have. Also those saying it's not a true harem would be wrong as well. It's not a requirement for there to be alternate endings or all of them being with who they are in love with.
What upset me is that the author didn't seem to care for chapters that would normally be considered important. ----SPOILERS AHEAD----. For example, let's look at another harem with Shonen Jump really quick, We Never Learn. The

original girl he ends up with is very clear because the author put in great clues and foreshadowing. The deciding moment here is the fireworks which had the story about those who see it together will be connected always. Now, let jump back to Nisekoi. There are two similar instances. The first is when they shoot arrows at him because if they land, they will be lucky in love. Mari states "she never said it had to be the first one", so even though Chitoge's is first, everyone still hits him. The second is stargazing which Kosaki wins. Going off of this it makes sense if the author wanted readers to also be confused. But there is another chapter that feels important. The very last Christmas chapter with Kosaki shows how much she and Ichijo care for a promise (not the main one) they made that day and each other. It showed they were alike in many ways.
Even though I was team Kosaki, I told myself that if Ichijo picked Chitoge and had a good reason, I'd accept it. I agree with many of the reviews saying the characters stop developing at a certain point. This is the main reason for who he picks in the end. Chitoge runs away which is a cliche that always leads them to be the one who gets picked. He says to Chitoge that he accepts all of her, which normally would be a sweet thing to say but in this case, not good enough. He only saw all those sides of her because he was forced to be in a relationship for 3 years. Kosaki never got this chance because of the relationship which meant she was forever in the phase where you don't want your crush to see bad parts of you yet. Not only that but when we see them years later Kosaki is the only one shown with her face hidden and no one else in the scene. This suggests that she never gets over Ichijo. If it were Chitoge instead, she would have moved on because she was the only one in the group to completely forget the original promise.
