Not recommended.
Please remember: this is my personal opinion and if you enjoyed it, I'm glad. I'm not taking that away from you
First off great opening song, great ending song
Starts off really strong, world building is good for first few episodes, nice plot layout for the first episode, however It's like they built the whole anime around the last two episodes and first two and it shows.
It's mostly episodic, very little plot carries over.
The animation for most of the action scenes is very stilted and poor. Usually only one thing going on at a time, and the action scenes were not very well thought
...
out, except the last two episodes
What does cyberpunk EdgeRunners do good? Dialogue is pretty good. Unnecessary vulgarities are a bit jarring. Nothing against profanity, it just seemed forced for "edginess" *pun intended*
Another thing it does real well is character development, character involvement and character conclusions. Most characters are compelling, some are completely forgettable. It throws plots out there that seem like they'll be developed and then they're completely forgotten about. Great soundtrack, love the metal songs especially. The last episode had everything you would want and expect from what the series lays out, but it's what you would want and expect in more of the episodes...mild romances between some characters take the back burner after being built up.
All in all a decent attempt, but seemingly rushed and incoherent with it's pacing.
Who is this anime for?
Those who want a simple, short, genre melding adventure. You can definitely turn your brain off for this one and enjoy the ride.
Who is this anime not for? Those looking for a psychological, philosophical anime with a message. Not for fans looking for an extremely high octane ride, or anything extremely unique.

(No spoilers)
Parasyte definitely has a message.
A strong one at that.
One thing parasyte does extremely well, is immersion. It lulls you into it's small world, with a huge premise.
Coexistence.
...
Parasyte is a multi-faceted thriller for the most part, with a persistent undertone of psychology & philosophy.
I definitely recommend Parasyte -the maxim-
However, be forewarned, it crescendos a bit early, which can make an episode or two a little jarring, and although I found the ending extremely satisfying with a lot of post script thoughts to digest...I could see how not everyone will enjoy the end, so enjoy the journey!
I rate parasyte a subjective 9 out of 10!!!

Cowboy Bebop: Spoiler free review
A truly surreal expirence to be had, Cowboy Bebop blends copious and subtle amounts of almost every genre.
A picturesque expirence teeming with euphoria and a wonderful sense of adventure. The world is uniquley crafted
and truly feels like its own.
Story 7/10 Cowboy bebop has an interesting concept of potraying it's story.
Being an episodic adventure, sure each episode has a different plot, but intertwined is segments from the character's pasts, taking us into the present to be projected into the future.
There is very little and a lot going on all at once spanned over this 26 episodic escapade!
Simply put; we start in the
...
present, slowly unveil the past, and follow the characters into their future.
Characters 7.5/10 Cowboy Bebop is more character interaction than character
development, and the interactions are well composed. The main characters have a lot of major differences,
but that is not to say they fit well together. They bring out the best and worst of
one another, which makes for some pleasantly awesome scenarios. Although progression isn't a main
focus, it is sometimes brought to the foreground through; learning who a character once was or what they were like
and who they are now, or are becoming. Cowboy Bebop has a unique way of unfolding their awesome cast of characters.
Art Direction 8/10 Most modern day animes by comparison still don't do what Cowboy Bebop did in 1998!
Action scenes are crisp and fluid, colors are done in a nice gritty finnese for the most part. Artsy
moments ranging from vibrant with color, to the serene and subtle and moments with artistic pizazz!.
Music 10/10 If you're familiar with Yoko Kanno(the composer) you have already come to know her exceptional
quality. This soundtrack is truly outstanding. Contemporary jazz, up-beat techno, surreal musical compositions
truly every genre can be found here. For 26 episodes there is a WIDE array
of tracks to be heard, and even American tracks from some well-known artists! The music brings the art direction
and whole feel of cowboy bebop alive, overflowing with a truly genuine effort to combine with the anime and bring
it to its peak. Every song fits every moment it is cast into, without being forced.
Cowboy Bebop will capture the attention of almost any anime fan, whether they are looking for action, adventure, sci-fi, even some casual
slice of life elements. Each episode is written by a different individual, but there is an overall sense of
direction. Overall I give Cowboy Bebop a 8/10
Disclaimer: Some episodes can have a dramatically different feel, and I found some episodes to be personally slow.
Do not let this deter you from missing out on an overall great anime!

I'm really looking for critique and want to hear from the anime fans themselves! Thankyou, so much ^_^

Monster: Spoiler free review
When an anime tries the rare endeavour of a realistic and plausible approach, it tends to be lackluster.
What we have here is a beautfuly crafted series, gleaming with articulate contrast, chocked full of unique characters with outstanding personaliities.
Monster is mostly psychological, but blends mystery and action with small portions of politics and wholesome amounts of "slice of life" from the mundane, to enticing perspectives.
Story; 8/10 This story is damn near perfect, as I stated it plays on plausible circumstances, which is rare in anime, and usually rather boring. In my opinion the story isn't even the highlight, it's the journey. It is
...
well executed over 74 episodes, and the pacing is fluid.
Characters: 9/10 Extreme attention to detail and personality. Almost every character, whether making an apperance for only an episode or two, or the whole series, has backstories
worthy of showcase. I watched the dubbed version and the voice acting is superb and really sells the anime.
Music: 8/10 Mostly orchestral with some occasional jazz influence. Plenty of ambience pieces very befitting of this anime's atmosphere, nothing bland here and helps carry the story.
My only complaint is for 74 episodes, a slight lack of songs. I believe only roughly 30+ tracks( I also, have high expectations of music though).
Art direction: 8/10 Plenty of atmosphere here, of course with a real setting things will be depicted with realism, but contrast between settings and atmosphere is well maintained.
Facial expressions are believable, nothing over done, spectacular angles which help paint the moment and smooth animation.
Monster offers a wide array of likable characters, easy to follow story that will keep you enticed and guessing, relatable characters and a sense
of different walks of life, mixed with expirences you can take something from. Overall I give Monster a 8.5 out of 10.
PS: It's a shame the title is so cliche, probably turns people away too quickly.

Inuyasha:Overall review(Spoiler free)
Inuyasha. An anime of a different breed. Appealing to a general audience, with a unique variety of elements. I started this anime as just a nice, casual anime to occupy my spare time, not expecting too much. 30 episodes in I was still unsure of where this anime was really taking me. Then I really started to notice character development was superb, and naturally slow as most people don't tend to change over night like some animes exaggerate(Always exceptions though ;D).
A review can be really helpful when deciding to get into a 193 episode anime!
Inuyasha has a nice way of unveiling introspective thoughts
...
that reflect different personalities of thinking incoprorated into a brilliant anime. Everyone from the intellectual to the die-hard action oriented guru can get into this anime. It does start off rather slow, and the filler episodes do tend to keep key storyline details enveloped in them. I personally enjoy animes I can take something from, and Inuyasha has a lot to offer, parts that will make you reflect not only on the anime itself but, your own journey in life.
This anime tends to be written off as romantic, but there really isn't much other than relationships occuring as if they would in real life. By chance(or in some cases fate, this is a fantasy setting). This is a rather action oriented anime, but the action isn't overdone nor in every episode. They find a unique way to ensure battles, and conforntation stays fluid and interesting. Sometimes, the knowledge of how they overcome an enemy is far more interesting than the battle itself. Most of the characters, even ones who are only around for a couple of episodes tend to be enjoyable, and attention to a characters personality is amazing. Characters seem to think so independently you'd swear each character's personality were being written by seperate individuals. Well, this was my first Anime review and I enjoyed Inuyasha so much I will be investing in the manga.
Inuyasha has 193 episodes and 4 movies, the movies are seperate from the anime so enjoy whenever you like. I hope you find Inuyasha enjoyable, as much as I did or maybe even more! As a Whole, I give Inuyasha a 7.5 out of 10
