WARNING: This is a big spoiler if you haven’t finished it.
Firstly, I’d probably give this a 10/10 but I’m a big fan for romance. Any anime that doesn’t include romance usually has the highest score of 8/10 (so consider it 10/10 xD)
Tari Tari is an amazing deep anime that follows the world of friendship and passion. 5 students, come together in the land of music. The story starts of following Konatsu Miyamoto, a passionate girl who wants to sing in the Vocal Club she’s in. However, she’d denied by the Vice Principal. Annoyed, Konatsu pursues the dream to create her own Choir club to be
...
able to sing. She recruits her friend Sawa Okita and Taichi Tanaka. Following that, a new transfer student Atsuhiro Maeda (aka “Wein”) joins the group. The last member they need, and want is Wakana Sakai.
However, Sakai’s bound by a past tragedy, making her avoid anything related to music. And so, this is the start of the story.
Tari Tari follow 5 separate Arcs in a sense. The shortest being Taichi’s dream involving badminton. There’s also Wein’s story with his friend Juan, who he lost touch with. Konatsu’s storyline follows throughout the whole series, which is really just her dream to be able to sing.
Two big arcs are Sawa and her dream to be a horse back rider (and archery) and Wakana, with her big over coming trial with the death of her mother.
The overall story is wonderful. The passion of these 5 teenage The challenges the overcome. The dreams they create. Tari Tari really focuses in depth of a friendship bond and the trials surrounding them.
The only thing I would have loved more, was Taichi’s feelings for Sawa, however, meh, it’s fine if there’s no romance.
THIS ANIME WAS AMAZING ^.^

Well, the synopsis isn’t exactly correct. There’s a bunch of flashback moments, and it currently takes place where Haruto’s going on a field trip to Tokyo where his Girlfriend, Eba lives, and the story of their long distance relationship.
If you’re into romance, I’d say, certainly look into it! This is a short, OVA of two episodes, and you could certainly consider it a movie. There isn’t too much of a story. Hence why I’d see it more as a movie. This anime leaves you hanging at the end, not in a bad sense, but in the sense that everything will work out.
As Haruto visits Tokyo
...
with his friends, he’s warped into being Nanami’s pretend boyfriend. I’m pretty sure you’ve seen these sort of animes before.
However, the lovely part about this anime is that the backstory between Nanami and Haruto, as well as Eba and Haruto appears throughout the two episodes. A lot of flashbacks occur, leaving you with a lot of questions until the show is over.
Again, if you love ROMANCE, I’d suggest to watch it. It’s not too clique and a lovely story (similar to the way 5 centimeters per second was emotional.)

Angelic Layer is created by CLAMP, which is pretty well known and I have seen, Card Captor Sakura, Chobits, Magic Knight Rayearth and Tsubasa Chronicles, so I guess I'm pretty much used to their work.
After watching those animes, the romance here lacked extremely. The first anime I watched, CCS, I was so in love with it for years. And the romance was amazing, compared to this - - the ending pretty much sucked.
Unless your a fan for family reunions - which im not - you'll love it.
Story: 8/10
Overall, I felt the story was really good. It was passionate and lovey between the mother and daughter,
...
as you get to see Misaki develop her emotions. It also gives you that sense of finding your identity. The real problem, or issue i had was the ending. I'm was quite hyped up about the romance in this anime, and in the end, Misaki never ended up with anyone, although you can refer she ends up with Ohijiro although she does say he's like a "brother". You still get the sense that Tomoyo and Kotarou end up together. Hikari also says at one point something along the lines of "I still havent told him my feelings" which is a big appointment because that romance kinda goes no where once her mother appears.
Art: 7/10
I usually love CLAMP's artwork and would give it a 9/10. But for some reason, this just didnt appeal to me. Maybe it has to do with Misaki's hair style. it was always the same - quite boring
Sound: 6/10
Okaii, most of the characters were fine but...... Misaki's voice made my ears bleed. Too squeaky, too high, too realistic. That's honestly all I got to say, and that's the minus 4 points there.
Character 7/10
Again, character development was nice, each character had their own story, and you got a feel for their situations.
Enjoyment 8/10
There were a lot of times I just couldn't stop watching, even though it's obvious Misaki would win, it was epic to see how she did. Also, once the romance began to flourish, I was really out of my seat. BIG BUMMER
Overall: 8/10
Honestly, I was thinking of giving it a 9 or 10 out of 10, and then the ending was a MAJOR disappointment.
