First, let me say my opinion of this manga when first seeing the cover and the plot summary.
I thought that, " Well, it's gonna be one of those marriage agreement thingy and one's gonna fall inlove w/ his/her partner... since this is shoujo might as well expect it. But, I'm gonna give it a try... just one try, ".
I WAS WRONG. SO WRONG IN SO MANY WAYS.
I never knew this manga had the PYSCHO thingy in it which was so beautifully expressed! The characters portrayed themselves very well. Especially, Nozumo and Soichirou.
At first I was like, " Yep, Nozumo's attitude's gonna be like this,
...
" but NO! It was on a total different level! And personally, I didn't like Soichirou's predictable and overly used character at first, but THEN! It was like I was slowly falling inlove with him.
I couldn't even choose between the two of them! Both drawn maturely and professionally.
Sumi's character was very lovely as well. It couldn't go wrong in any way. She was so mature. I looked up to her in every chapter of the manga.
The manga started simple at the beginning and suddenly confusing but confusing in a GOOD way. At the end of the manga, I didn't even expect a plot twist!
My journey reading this manga was full of emotions. Some happy, some sad and some I just don't know how to express.
I was really sad that it ended at Chapter 57. I don't even care if it goes until 500!
I finished this manga in a day and regretted how I only read it until now. This manga is on par with Faster Than a Kiss for me.
I really love this manga and people should give it a try.
And of course, my overall review of this manga is a perfect 100.

This review is for the whole Bakuman Series. From Season 1 - 3 'cause why not?
At first, I had thoughts about watching Bakuman. I really thought it would be like Gekkan Shoujo or Mangaka to Assistant-kun which their main point is about Manga and Comedy.
But what makes Bakuman so special is their dedication to the certain plot, which is Manga. You'd see from other Manga-related anime that they do not give much attention to Manga, but this, it's just so different, not unique but very different.
I thought it would be all gags and no seriousness. But I was wrong. You'd see from the main
...
protagonist eyes, their dedication and perserverance.
Every episode was worth it. Every episode felt so important that I think I'd lost a part of the show if I didn't watch it. It wasn't great just because of the manga, but because of the Romance which was so weak in communication yet so strong in the protagonist eyes.
It was so beautiful, how they tried to make their dreams come true before swearing forever to each other.
Mashiro- He's the typical type boy in the anime community and I think resembles a lot to Okimura Rin from Blue Exorcist. But what makes him so great isn't his Appearance. It was his attitude and Personality towards manga and the girl he loves. I've never seen him goof off a day without drawing manga. His perseverance has drawn me into him.
Takagi- There are times when I treat him as a much more Protagonist than Mashiro. I actually even wished he'd be Main-Main (?) (if that makes sense to you) in the Series. I really love Takagi's Character and devotion. He is the main reason why their manga is doing great.
The other characters are also great. Outstanding even. Every character serves a purpose and I love how they motivate Ashirogi Mutou to do more than they ever could. As they say " It's written as friends but read as rivals ".
My personal favorite character in this anime is actually Hiramaru. He's just so damn funny and he's personality fits with mine. I actually root for him and Aoki. ^__^
What's a plus in this anime is the OP and ED both are wonderful.

When I was very new to reading manga, I stumbled upon this one. I thought, " Nah, not one of those teacher-student romance crap again! " (=___=)
I mean it doesn't really happen in real life that easily, does it?
But I was really curious since the Female Protagonist's Brother caught my eye, then I started reading it. Nothing to do anyway. At first, I was reading the typical macho type of shoujo romance you'd see with the cool guy in glasses and rivalries and stuff...
I thought I was done with those things on the ANIME SERIES...
But when actually reading it, there's a certain charm, that would
...
hook the readers into reading more. The typical innocence and straight out gags. enlightened me into reading more. The more I was reading it, the more emotions of me were set out free.
It became a very positive manga to read. I actually prayed they'd make an anime version, but then it would be tough since it's student-teacher related.
It brought tears in my eyes and actual voicing was happening in my head, OSTs were springing out and even my own ANIME OPENING and ENDING was singing in my head.
I thought I may had gone mad, but no, it was just the magic of positivity and love that the manga had.It really inspired me when the teacher decided not to kiss her until she graduates. Then the time came....
THE AWAITED MOMENT
The feeling of fulfillment is definitely set in this manga, then the next thing you'll know is you'll crave more and more...
Nonetheless, it was a great read and one of my favorite romance anime ever!

I had seen this anime since the year 2009. I was a cub then and had no clue as to what Gintama really was. I was like, " Hey, something's showing on TV! Let's watch it! ". The First moments I laid eyes on Gintama was on episode 132. ( THE HAUNTED INN ).
It was really funny back then and had my eyes all teary. But mostly, its quite the action. It's the typical type of shounen action you'd see but with more feelings. It actually really gets badass at the right moment and then the next thing you'd know you're in a GAG!
I found
...
it enjoyable and bought a DVD of it. Gintama showed me the world of anime. It was just so different, so intense, so dramatic, so funny! I started to see the world around me differently. I started seeing it the way Gintama does on its own screen. Whenever I looked at my friends, I just knew what Gintama taught me and just had to smile.
All the characters are enjoyable. I didn't like some at the beginning but as the story grew further, " SOME " made sense and ended up in me loving the whole cast.
What's great about Gintama is that it doesn't give JUST A SHOW. It gives A SHOW TO TELL. All the characters background story and individual personalities grew in my heart and made me a different person. Maybe not a person whom majority would like, but maybe a person whom I myself can accept and be happy with.
Gintama doesn't have a MAJOR PLOT. It's a one kind episode per watch, but when an ARC gets serious and dramatic, there's just no turning back.
Many had complains on how Gintama is a boring anime. Yes, it may have been at the first episodes, but I'm sure that when letting it grow and flow into your eyes, you'll see how beautifully made Gintama is.
I mean, seriously, who could have thought of typical historical and futuristic era mixed together? Of course, only SORACHI HIDEAKI could have thought.
The art isn't that great and digitalized, but as seasons goes by, Gintama's art develops too. We'll see that in episode one Gintoki looks like a teenage boy, but believe me, he'll change eventually. More and more handsome and charming.
As to the comedy and parody part, I haven't seen anything surpassing Gintama's way of thinking. Even I sometimes could not understand what they were trying to parody, but I found myself laughing all the way.
Gintama is my favorite anime of all times and I think nothing could compare to it. It'll always have a special place in me.
I always thought after this I'm gonna watch another series! But no, It wasn't that easy. The fear of having to finish such incredible series kept me in hanging in fear and sadness. I never thought the day would come that Gintama had to end.
At the end of the series, I thought to myself " WHAT WOULD I DO WITH MY LIFE NOW? NOW THAT GINTAMA HAS ENDED? "
It ain't that easy. But new rumors of seasons were emerging... and hope was starting to fill me up. Hope that I'd be able to see my beloved Gintama on screen again someday....
I never knew such an anime so different, so unique.
I've rewatched it a lot of times, still the gags and actions were still killing me. So nostalgic, so old yet so fresh!
I hope you guys give Gintama a try after this review ends for it has kept me with tears of mixed and strange emotions and I do hope that Gintama does with you too. :D
THANKS FOR READING MY REVIEW!

At First, I was like no way.... Gender Bender Manga? Not my cup of tea. But I had nothing else to do so I gave it a try anyways, besides the art caught my attention.
It was then at the first chapter that I said, " Hey, not bad at all. "
Then it was like, " HELL NO! THAT HAPPENED?!. "
And then it was, " NO!NO!NO! You do not get to break her heart!"
Then, " Aww... "
...
Finally, " W-WHATTTT???? "
Until then I realized, hey this manga's quite good. No, scrap that! This manga's actually great! :D
It's not too long, and fits just right for romance seeking fans out there. Though I'm not a big fan though...
Give this manga a shot! Really! ^_^
It's quite lighthearted and not the typical type of shoujo manga there normally is!
ACTUALLY, IT'S GREAT!:D
