Yeah I haven't seen spice in wolf in a long time but I vaguely remember what happens, think I watched it at least 2 years ago if not more. That's a good step 2 in my cycle haha.
I'm a subs guy too but ore monogatari was so cute and funny that you didn't really need to read the subs to get your fix. A lot of Takeo's gestures made me like pain smile..if you get me haha like when you smile so much it hurts your mouth muscles :c
I started looking up filler episodes to skip, especially if it's the likes of bleach you have too, apparently there's more than a years worth of filler.
I still haven't got around to lovely complex, my friend said I have to watch the first couple of seasons of grey's anatomy :L barakamon was a nice gem that was sitting on my ptw list for a very very long time. One day I just gave in and watched it and enjoyed myself, those kind of things aren't usually what I go looking for but it "made me think"! lol
Kind of funny how good we find ore monogatari even tho it's aimed at girls :3 although most shows aimed at boys are just 20 minutes of fan service or 90% filler....*cough* Bleach *cough* Naruto *cough*
Cool I might give lovely complex another shot so before I watch World Conquest.
Princess tutu looks... I don't want to say awful but at least super cringey xD I've seen everything else bar Glass No Kamen, which looks alright but the fact that the manga was written in the 70s makes me feel like it will be outdated.
I accidentally watched ao first THEN found eureka seven :L still didn't ruin my experience tho! eureka seven is much better but ao had better animation coz it was newer and fancier I guess.
ore monogatari is one of my top 5ish, only because of Takeo tho, if takeo wasn't in it probably not lol, didn't realise it got a live action, is it decent?
Lovely complex is the one about the tall girl and the shortish guy I think? I watched the first couple of episodes and felt uninspired :/ does it get better?
Lol you're welcome! at some stage I'll probably hit up your ptw list and steal any good ones :3
I agree with having a jap as the protgonist for the movie but when the japanese do "real" movies such as dragon ball(which was so so so so bad) and attack on titan(which was suprisingly okay) they tend to use all japanese casts even for playing the characters who were clearly not asian in the anime and it ruins the premise altogether... but I think scarlett will be able to capture her character well even if she doesn't really look the part which is more than I can say for any of the main protagonists in the attack on titan movie... it's worth a watch tho! There's some new info that may or may not be present in season 2.
I actually liked Highschool fleet I watched the first couple of episodes but it kind of annoyed me that every episode was problem "x" has occured, OMG what should be do, joke from blonde girl. Next episode repeat formula!! Which may be very cynical of me but.... ssssh.
Have you seen the latest episode of Kiznaiver? I replayed the last like 30 seconds like 5 times and almost bawled my eyes out :'( I'm rooting for Nori-chan all day, I feel sorry for chidori but she literally spent months watching him get beaten up by the same two guys and watched them take his money and never said anything then tried to play the unrequited heartbroken character, too much hypocrisy for me though a lot of it was his fault for being so dense..... NORI-CHAN!!!!!!! hahaha
Really? that's very interesting, I was always interested in demons and kind of dragons and stuff and magic just kind of overlapped with them, I think the first ones I ever saw were the likes of 11 eyes or dragon crisis, I can't actually remember what happens in them it's been so long tho xD magi: the labyrinth is a pretty good one too! though they never move forward enough with the story sometimes.
PS: Y u no watch Mirai Nikki, One Punch Man, Tokyo Ghoul, Barakamon, attack on titan, mawaru penguindrum they're all fantastish!! also some mecha's you haven't seen that you may enjoy = gargantia, eureka seven ao and some comedic moe = unbreakable machine doll, black bullet, kore wa zombie desu-ka and you'll probably like kamisama hajimemashite or however one spells it, Sukitte Ii na yo and my little monster, can't remember the japanese name so you may have it on your list already :3
I may look into gundam after this season is over coz I'll probably marathon the series(s) when they're finished again.
Erased was awesome it was my favorite show last season! I was a bit skeptical at first because the first episodes made it look like an old man was going to go back in time and do frowned upon things but I'm glad my suspicions were wrong!
Re:Zero was my top pick of the season until the last episode of Kiznaiver that aired! Now it's very close but I have to give it to Re:Zero for consistently being good.
Haven't gone near Ushio and Tora because old style drawings kind of turn me off, I have to be spoon fed them by my friends, literally xD
I don't think I've seen many gundam series bar the one that was airing alongside DBZ years ago, I think it was either seed or gundam wing, not sure tbh only really remember a space battle.
I didn't finish asterix' 1st season, I kind of feel bad for not doing it simply because I put it in the same boat as rakudai kishi no cavalry.... which was awful... Have you seen cavalry? do you think asterix is much better?
God eater was a fun experience! I was initially turned off by the new animation but started to enjoy it after a while, If the series wasn't so rushed tho it would have been received better I think. You may enjoy Ajin if you liked god eater the animation, pacing and lack of character development is pretty much the same, it's made by netflix tho so don't expect a whole lot.
Excited for the ghost in the shell movie with johansson? Should be good! Kabaneri was the series I was looking forward to before the start of the season, while it's still quite good, the overall quality dropped after the first couple of episodes though it's difficult to squeeze so much into a short series it'd be nice if someone made a serious zombie anime nothing like highschool of the dead....
Higurashi? now you're talking! love that kind of stuff :3 I actually had to watch madoka twice because there was a lot of stuff I didn't really understand the first time, it's a crazy series. I have NOT SEEN OUTBREAK COMPANY!!!!!!!!! going to watch it right now hahaha
There's a couple of great shows this season tho, kiznaiver, Re:zero and hero academy have been great(even tho hero academy is a rehashed one punch man with a more universal setting -.-) there's also that order thing which I liked initially because they were using Yuno and Yukki as character models!!! but it's not great tbh but if you treat it as like a terrible quality mirai nikki ova it's enjoyable....sometimes lol. I lost interest in most of the other shows after a couple of episodes but some of them are okay like flying witch or little witch or whatever it's called.
