I recommend both of these shows individually, but going from one to the other is a great jumping off point. Both shows are geared more toward the wholesome part of the RomCom spectrum, but it should be no surprise that Dress Up Darling still dips its toes into fan service given the nature of cosplay and what that entails on social media. Despite this, Kaguya and Dress Up Darling are top tier RomComs. One aspect of this recommendation that must not be overlooked is the English Dub for both are really good. I would argue the English Dub for Kaguya is better than the subbed version but that is another argument entirely. The fact is that if you are looking for a good RomCom and also want a series that has an english dub completed, then jumping from either one to the other is an excellent suggestion because they are quality series with quality dubbing jobs.

Both shows are wholesome with a more grounded attempt at telling the romance within the story. Both shows deal with characters who exist on the opposite side of the social ladder and while both take their unique spin on the outcome of this relationship, they both are driven by the characters that exist within the world and not by the fan service other shows need to survive. I recommend both indivudually but if you liked one you would definitely like the other.

The main difference between these two show comes from the backdrop (Wotakoi is with adults in a workplace while Dress Up Darling is high school) and the catalyst for the relationship. Outside of this these shows are surprisingly similar in tone and overall themes. Both deal with a relationship that starts as a mostly transactional one that in time evolves into a deeper affection. And both work with characters who are basically just weirdos who for the most part embrace who they are. If you have seen Dress Up Darling first then I highly recommend you jump to Wotakoi. If you have seen Wotakoi first, then I recommend Dress Up Darling, but would remind you that this show still has more suggestive themes and to be ready for those.

Both shows involve a more pragmatic MC in a fantasy world dealing with hero(s) that cause problems. In the case of Assassin, the MC is tasked with killing the hero in exchange for being reincarnated while Shield Hero sees the MC being outcast from the rest of the heroes for reasons. While I do not believe both are of the same quality, I do think if you liked the MC in one, you may like the MC in the other. They also deal with more competent worlds where not everyone is a complete idiot, so that is refreshing and can help with watching.

Both of these shows involve an MC who is not a prototypical good guy. The difference is that why Assassin shows an MC who is trying to be more of a person with their own thoughts and opinions, Overlord dives into an MC who all but removes their humanity from the start and goes full villain. Why both shows take different paths, their goals are somewhat similar and may make the watch at least worth a try. Also both MCs are OP so that can scratch the power fantasy if that is what you are looking for.

Both Goblin Slayer and Assassin involve sociopathic MCs who only care about the singular task they've been given. While they both take place in worlds of swords and sorcery, their settings are different enough to not keep the shows from feeling the same. A fun part of both stories comes from the fact that both MCs are outwardly OP in nature. While both are badass in presentation and execution this does not come from simply having the more OP skills or being overpowered for overpowered sake. Both are OP within their universes because they have a level of proficiency and expertise that allow for them to have the skills and knowledge to be experts in their fields. This is a positive for both shows in a genre that more so than not simply allow MCs to be overpowered for overpowered sake.

While both Uzaki and Nagatoro feature similar plot elements, their focus offer a fresh take on the same archetype when compared to each other. For instance, while both feature a central teasing nature, within the story of Uzaki, the main male lead is no pushover and actively confronts Uzaki on her shenanigans. Nagatoro's male lead is not of this nature as its story focuses on the male lead attempting to navigate through his day with this borderline bully in his life. The central premise still holds to the concept of the female lead teasing the male lead, but the difference in the approaches the male leads take in dealing with this make both a noteworthy watch. If you like one, you may appreciate the difference in approach to the male lead for the other.

Both feature female protagonists and are light-hearted in nature. They both revolve around magic users and can be slow burns if you are looking for something in the Isekai genre that doesn't try to be too "cool."
Both are funny titles that do not take themselves too seriously. Both rely on their cast of characters to carry the show.
