Something About Us reminds me of another webtoon called Que Sera Sera about childhood friends falling in love with each other. The webtoon itself, is a wonderful read that drives into the deepest part of our souls. I dropped this webtoon a few years ago thinking it was boring, but i'm glad I picked it back up again and read through it all.
Story | 07
The story was beautifully written, but I felt certain chapters were a bit rushed. A typical "boys and girls can never truly be best friends without one falling for another". Being friend-zoned, heartbroken, dumped, and all
...
of the consecutive terms that follow after; I really enjoyed the story. At one point, everyone goes through their first failed love attempt, fighting, broken objects, tears, so we could really empathize with the plot. Yoojin and Minwoo's relationship reminds me of my boyfriend's and I when we were really immature and fought all that time, but that's not really the point of this review right? :)
Art | 09
The art isn't anything to fancy or has vibrant color that make our eyes hurt at night. It's simple and plain, which is the best because bright colors can make our eyes go bad *^* There aren't any extreme detailing on character design nor background which is a plus plus for me because I feel like the "extra" that artists draw, sometimes have no purpose to the story.
Character | 08
I felt like Woojin's character wasn't really developed enough. You also don't get too much information on the other characters besides the main characters and the important side characters. I would've liked it more if the artist gave back stories to every character, but that could also be put into side stories too? C:
Enjoyment | 10
I have to rate enjoyment a 10 because it really kept me on the edge of my bed. The webtoon gets better around the 50th chapter when the story really starts to pull us in. Seeing the main character try so hard to escape the friend-zone [Which is possible guys!] and actually succeeding was the best part of the story!
Overall, 100 chapters really go through a breeze when it comes to online comics. This and Que Sera Sera are a definite read!

If you guys didn't know, DRAMAtical MURder is a BL [Boy's Love/YAOI] anime based off of a dating sim/visual novel. The game is very NSFW -Not Safe For Work- for it has R18+ content. The anime itself, is very Shounen-Ai like so there aren't any R18+ scenes. Also, romance isn't the genre of this anime, there may be hints of it, but it isn't. When i say DRAMAtical MURder is a BL, I mean it as in the game, the characters are $!&#*^# Aoba's ass.
The anime is very hard to understand in the beginning, but it doesn't mean it's bad. Most anime based from
...
dating sims aren't clear, only because they want you to buy the full game to understand the plot and for the NSFW content.
Story | 07
I found it interesting that certain areas of the city has game zones where people fought each other. Because I am a Yaoi fan, I started to immediately ship NOIZ x CLEAR instead of shipping the main character with anyone xD hehe ^^ The story wasn't badly written, there were just gap holes in certain episodes and was left off with a cliff hanger. This was solely for the purpose that you buy the game instead.
Art | 09
I really liked how the characters looked like, with the exception of Aoba, he was eh not my type :C Everything is simplistic and nothing is extremely detailed. This anime focuses more on the action rather than the visuals, for once again, visuals are found better in the game.
Sound | 06
The sound was not the best nor blandly played. It was alright for such a short anime; though it could've been better.
Character | 08
My favorite characters are Noiz, Clear, and Virus. I couldn't come to like Aoba, Aoba is very uke [not going to explain this term], he's submissive and relies on his friends a lot. There really isn't any character development in the anime nor any romantic developments, just hints.
Enjoyment | 09
I did enjoy the anime very much and am planning to get the game someday ~ As aforementioned, the anime itself isn't bad, it was just created that way to market the game. So all these bad reviews are bleh. Either BL is your cup of tea or not.
Overall, just give this anime a try. There's really nothing you're losing to watching this ofc if you're not into BL.

So basically you wake up amnesiac and suddenly you have all these crazily hot guys surrounding you trying to get in your pants. A typical reverse harem anime like Norn 9, Diabolik Lovers, and Kamigami no Asobi. Literally, the visual novel is better than this rushed 12 episodes anime.
Story | 06
It is unique as to waking up losing all your memories with a spirit to help decide your decisions for you. What could've been better is to make each episode a part of every character's road. For instance, first few episodes of Shin and then the next few of Toma. Not jump
...
from character to character wondering who is the boyfriend. I do think, they probably made the anime this way so people would be inclined to purchase the dating sim online [Which I already played through on Steam].
Art | 09
The art isn't the best, but I enjoyed how cute the main character is. Her outfit choosing isn't bad and the maid concept is kawaii. THE MEN ARE HOT TOO SO THAT'S A PLUS [ Hint : I like Shin, Toma, and Ikki's routes]. The backgrounds are the same bunch and nothing too detailed.
Sound | 07
Ohkay the music was mediocre. The opening was fine and I actually liked the ending more than the opening. Maybe some dramatic or soothing music would've been nice.
Character | 05
The main character will piss you off in the anime. Her character in the visual novel is so much better. She's very weak, which is normal being amnesiac, but everyone just comes to her rescue like? There isn't any character development at all, you just go from guy to guy, very rushed, back story and all, and it's just that.
Enjoyment | 06
I enjoyed the visual novel more than I enjoyed the anime. I didn't understand anything at all that went down in the anime until I played the game. Literally, from guy to guy, no stable plot nor character development. It's better to get the game, legit.
Overall | 07
I wouldn't watch this again. Like i've said probably xxx times already, get the game for better story, plot, and character development.

World Trigger is one of those anime that are focused on character development and plot. I think this was a fair anime, but it could've been better in many ways. For instance, the plot was a bit rushed. There were times where I got lost and didn't fully understand what was happening in the story. Other than that said, I really enjoyed the first season of World Trigger.
Plot | 08
Main character becomes a huge icon and fights neighbors and their creations. He allies with a neighbor and forms a team with him and another girl, their sniper. This genre is not uncommon,
...
but the plot is quite common found in anime similarly to Bleach, Kekkaishi, and Gate. I have this an 08 only because I enjoyed the difference between the action anime that have been coming out.
Art | 07
Although, not aesthetically drawn, it is simple and easy on the eyes. Nothing too flashy, sparkly, glamorous, and just right for an action anime. To me, it's not the details that matter, but how the backgrounds and characters mesh.
Sound | 06
There aren't really any dramatic or suspenseful soundtracks in this anime. The sound effects are cool and basic, nothing too much to the ears.
Character | 08
I couldn't really come to like Osamu, the main character. He is physically weak and takes him too long to realize he needed to focus and train on his body. Although, he is very intelligent and is the brain of his team. You could say he is also one of the "useless" teammates. Chika, the sniper, is a very tiny, timid, and short girl. She knows she is weak so she wanted to be someone useful to the team. She holds a lot of Trion, so she can shoot massive explosions. I came to like her in the end. Kuga, is probably my second favorite character in this anime, he is the neighbor, and is very strong. He knows when his opponent is stronger than him and thinks logically. The other characters in the anime, you don't really focus too much on them.
Enjoyment |08
I probably started getting into World Trigger around episode 28. The first 20 episodes are boring and Osamu is weak and boring, dull, incapable of getting stronger. But after a while, when he realizes how weak he is, he changes and the story starts moving. My favorite part of the anime is during the team fights.
Overall | 08
The anime wasn't bad nor amazing, but it was worth the while to watch. Chika and Kuga really grow on you more than Osamu does. I would definitely watch this again C=
