"Having happy and beautiful memories won't always bring you salvation. The more beautiful a memory is, the more painful it can become. It can even become terrifying. Both for the one who's leaving... And for the one left behind" -Isla
First of all, i just wanted to say that Plastic memories was probably one the anime i was looking forward to the most. So i did have high expectations for it.
The story revolves around a world like we live in today, but maybe a few hundreds years fast forward. The main character of the story, Tsukasa. Is a newly hired to work for the Terminal service,
...
which was a corporation made to handle giftias which are basically androids with human character traits. He later falls in love with hes co-worker Isla. They soon started dating but faces the cold reality of what giftias are.
The story is really well made. The only thing in my opinion that would've made this anime better is maybe a different approach to the ending.
as for the art for this anime, is simply outstanding. The art from this anime is definitely one of the strong points of this anime and it is easily distinctive from other anime's.
The sounds for this anime aren't really anything special or that different from others but The Ost tracks for the anime as well as the ending are pretty good in my opinion.
One of the keys to success for this anime was character development. Throughout this anime, there were many episodes that builds up character development slowly as the series progressed. The characters in this anime aren't really all that distinct maybe besides Isla. But although the lack of uniqueness from characters. This anime puts a perfect balance between types of anime characters to make the anime as a whole unique in its own way.
For me this anime was very enjoyable. I waited every Saturday for a new episode to come out and this anime made me change my perspective on some things.Overall i think this anime was pretty well made. it is definitely an anime more for people that are into drama and a hint of comedy.Overall i think this anime did meet my expectations.

When i first started watching this anime ,i really didn't know what to expect from it and it surprised me at first. Saenai is not like your average romance comedy anime. Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata gives a really refreshing new and unique plot that keeps its viewers wanting more at the end of every episode.
The name of the anime "Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata" itself means how to train a girl to be a herione. Right away you would see that Saenai has a really unique plot which very little anime can relate to out there. The story starts of with Tomoya Aki, a high school
...
teenage boy who is a major otaku/shut-in ,who doesn't know much besides video games and dating sims. On one faithful day he meets the girl of his dreams. He later finds out that the girl goes to the same school as him. With the help of his childhood friend Sawamura Eriri Spencer and his senpai Kasumigaoka Utaha. He decides to make a dating sim based off of the girl he met that day.
Alright first of all i want to give mad props to A-1 Pictures for the amazing art in the anime. There was never a part in the anime where the art was lacking, everything in this anime was drawn beautifully, the colors to represent the mood, the special details for different characters , simply amazing.
The opening and ending soundtrack are also amazing , it sets the tone for the anime and it is just right. A big thing worth mentioning , Matsuoka Yoshitsugu and Kayano Ai are 2 of the voice actors in the anime. They're one of the best ones around imo and you might remember the duo in other animes such as Sakurasou and no game no life where they were both also voicing the main characters.
The characters in this anime are all made quite well.Every character fills their role perfectly and are all unique in their own way. The girls in the anime can melt your heart away making you want fall in love with them. The only problem i had with the characters is that there wasn't enough character development, Which is understandable considering the fact that it was a 12 episode series
This anime overall is very good and it was made exceptionally well, the only thing that i did not like was the fact that it was only a 12 episode series, but other then that this anime was very refreshing with its interesting plot and unique characters.

"If you have the right to live, so do we. Granted, I believe rights are a concept unique to the human species." - Migi
Kiseijuu was one of the most hyped animes of the 2014 season. Not only did the anime ended up living up to most of the expectations, it completely stormed threw the anime world as one of the best and i now consider this anime a all time classic.
the story revolves around The 17-year-old Izumi Shinichi who was your normal average everyday teenager until 1 night that changed his life forever.that night, worm-like aliens called Parasytes invade Earth , entering human bodies
...
and taking control of their brains and acts as the control of the brain. One parasyte Migi, attempts to enter Shinichis brain but fails and enters his arm, takes control of Shinichis arm. The duo soon realize that they were going to have to work together to be able to survive in this world.
The characters from this anime is one of the strong points of this anime. Every character has a important role to this anime and it is executed exceptionally.
The Soundtrack in the anime is amazing. The opening and ending of the anime especially , it is just simply amazing and the song choices were spot on perfect.
Horrors , sci-fi and mystery animes have never really appealed to me. But Kiseijuu has influenced me to opened up space for me to explore a new genre of animes. This anime had me staying up late at nights thinking about the anime.
Overall this anime is a insanely good anime and it loves ups to the expectations that it had,10 our of 10. Kiseijuu, simply a classic.

kokoro connect is a romantic comedy anime, but this is not just any regular romcom. Kokoro connects delivers a genuinely refreshing experience by having a strong set of characters that goes into a unique plot.
Kokoro connect starts off with a group of friends in that are in a club called the Cultural Research Club. These normal everyday life teenage students later has their life completely changed by a body-swapping phenomenon, which switches the souls of the group of friends around to another persons body. "Heartseed' the character to be blamed for this, wishes to be entertained. He picks the Student Cultural Society club members
...
of the Yamaboshi Private High School, just because he thought they are an interesting bunch. And with that the Cultural Research Club are faced with phenomenon that causes the group members to open up to each other and have no secrets.
One of the most unappreciated things in this anime is the art.The overall art for this anime is amazing it has many different colors that changes due to the mood of the story and also Every character in this anime is drawn differently and have its unique details to support their characteristics. The art on this anime is top notch that's for sure.
The thing that makes this anime stand out the most is its strong set of characters. Each and everyone of the characters are unique in their own way and has a part in the story. The anime has very good character development which really impressed me although it was a relatively short series.
nice opening, and endings.nothing really out of the ordinary.I can't say much for the soundtrack, but the voice acting is awesome.
overall i think this anime is a great mix between romantic comedy and has a really deep message in it that would appeal to most if they took time to watch this anime.

All girls like cute things and homos - Chocolat
Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Love comedy wo Zenryoku de Jama Shiteiru, a good mix between romance and comedy but this is not your regular average harem anime. It has a good plot and idea to it, t delivers a genuinely refreshing experience that cleverly combines its moe appeal with a strong cast of characters.
The story revolves around , Amakusa Kanade a teenage boy that has been cursed with absolute choices, Amakusa Kanade at random times cause a voice in his head to give him two or more choices to make. if he
...
decides to not do what is told in his head soon later he will get a severe headache making him choose one of the choices. he later meets Chocolat , a interesting girl that fell out of the sky and is here to help cure Amakusa Kanades curse.
Above all, this story is as imaginative and original as they come. Personally, I have never seen a story quite like this before, and because of that, it piqued my interest. however the only problem i have with the anime is that the ending is rushed and is poorly written.
The art in this series is generic anime style drawn to perfection. Unique design for the protagonist,The art never hinders your enjoyment of this anime and even improves the experiences. Overall i think the art is one of the stronger elements to this anime and it definitely shows.
The sound for this anime is somewhat generic I would say. It sounds really adorable, I will give it that, and the mood fillers for the anime do sound good and very appropriate for where they're placed. The OP and ED I would say are good but not overly fantastic
the characters in this anime are all made really well and all have their own unique characteristics that make them different. for example , all the females of this anime are all mad extremely different. there is Chocolat who is a overly energnic girl that always seems to have a good appetite. and then there is Furano Yukihira who is also one of the main characters of the anime, but unlike Chocolat she is quiet but a little weird. She likes verbally abusing Kanade and has a weird sense of humor.
i would rate this anime a 8.5/10. I was never bored with the series, and enjoyed watching every moment. The comedy is pretty funny, I love the characters, and the story was plenty deep and interesting to keep me watching. but for the most part, I'm happy with what I watched. Overall this anime is something that made me laugh numerous times and is definitely worth watching. the only complaints i have on this anime is the fact that it is too rushed and should get another season to develop more

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is probably one of the top comedy animes of 2014. its a good romantic comedy, slice of life anime that will keep you wanting more at the end of every episode.
the story begins with Kazunari Usa, a high school 1st year who ends up living in a boarding house due to his parents working overseas. he finds out that the girl of his dreams Kawai Ritsu, also lives in the same complex, but just when he think things are looking up,he soon realizes that his other roommates are anything but normal.
The animation for Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is rather average, nothing
...
really sticks out as good or bad. But it looks very good. I definitely applaud the character designs, they are very well-done.
the characters in this anime are all really different and each have unique stories. The characters are the main focus of the show with Kazunari Usa, being your average romcom anime herione that is always too nice at times and is easy to fall in love. another main character of the anime , Kawai Ritsu, is a 2nd year high school student that spends most of her time reading books and is alone most of the time , who is also very shy and can be quite cold sometimes. Of course you have to deal with stereotypes for the most part, but they are overall a good relatable cast, which have their flaws and never feel too one sided. It's also funny how characters become more likable the further the show progresses. It is evidence of character progression.
as for the music and sound of the anime, it is nothing out of the ordinary Exepct the fact that Kana Hanazawa is the voice actor for one of the main character Kawai Ritsu, which makes the anime even better.
overall i think this anime has a little bit of everything school, comedy , romance and slice of life. The romance was a downer, but that was just a small part of the story so it didn't take away from the overall enjoyment. To this day, I still hope will get a second season, because it deserves one. If you're looking for an anime show with great characters, tons of comedic parts and a solid story line with a mixture of light-hearted and serious moments, then this a good watch. I was very satisfied with this, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
