Very similar art styles, similar over the top humor, and similar insane characters. The plots themselves have nothing alike.

...then you might like Baldr Force Exe Resolution add

Both are subpar OVAs produced as promotional tools. Don't expect anything amazing or to be wowed out of your socks. That being said, they are both fairly short and an interesting look at some of the more odder Mecha variations.

If you liked .hack//G.U. Trilogy: Parody Mode add

...then you might like Gun x Sword-san add

They are both small shorts that offer up non-canonical laughs. Fan service at the core. Both should be enjoyed after finished the series they are "Parodying."

If you liked .hack//Liminality add

...then you might like Final Fantasy VII: On the Way to a Smile - Episode: Denzel add

They both tell side stories that aren't necessarily important to the overall plot of the main series but work rather nicely.

...then you might like DearS: Kin no Tama desu no? add

Essentially fan-service episodes that don't really offer anything to the overall plot of the series but are good standalone episodes non the less.

Both series make a plot out of nonsensical insanity. They both cater to fan-service without going overboard.

Both are steaming piles that should be avoided at all costs. However if you want a "What the flying Fu-" moment, go ahead and watch them. One is a commercial l that has nothing to do with the plot of the game, the other is an AMV. Both leave you wondering what the developers were thinking.

...then you might like 30th Gundam Perfect Mission add

Both are short little fan service "tech demos." They are a great two minutes of enjoyment for fans of the series who enjoy the mecha aspects being flaunted. Don't expect any character development though. You won't even see a pilot here.

If you liked Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid add

...then you might like Kidou Senshi Gundam: Dai 08 MS Shoutai add

Both feature heavy action with the use of tactics, great character development, and believable character interactions.
