I think Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu brings a lot of stuff of Bleach. You have in both a story that 1st it's about something, a quest to find something/someone, but then the plot happens and we have a turn of events that explain a lot of stuff; there are 2 major groups of power, the Shinigamis/Gotei 13 and the Hollows/10 Espadas vs The Holy Knights and the Ten Commandments; we can see some characters who have similiar imposing pose, power and the same movements and ways to think (for example we can see similarities between Kurosaki Ichigo and Meliodas, Zaraki Kenpachi and Escanor, or even teh 5th Espada Nnoitra and the Commandment of Thruth Galand); we see in the two series some awesome fights, with a lot of burst damage, blood, cuts and released inner power made to explode the oposite guy. The fights in the 1st season also bring back memories from Bleach.

We have in here some similar stuff, like the torture/experiment on the wiked for more information, and at some point, the organs were removed and grew back again. The polt is not actually the same, but there are similarities on the way the main characters uses their powers to fulfill their actions

Nice and well done action scenes, and both are samurai themed. The series are based on travel for some quest, and there we can see diferent types of personality present in the groups and change the mood based on them.

Both main characters are seen as the villains, when they have a noble cause destined to a greater cause. In the end of Akame ga Kill! you can't say that there is an happy ending or that could be anything more in the plot. Good comedy, the theme "love" is very explicit in both, and there are present very good battles with great awesomeness.

Both comedy and slice of life anime. Both take place in a school. The image, the clima and the environment are very close to each other. As a short anime, the plot are very reduced in Aiura, when in K-On! there is something more elaborated.

The animes are similar in the part of the (SPOILER! DON'T READ) death ambiance that are present in the episodes. You can tell that there's someting that it doens't feel right in the middle of the happiness of the characters They are both very emotional and it beat right in the feeling. After all the conflits are settled, you can't understand if there is an happy or a bad ending. You stay happy, but you want to cry.

The principal idea of my recommendation is based on different factors. First of all we got an awesome opening, the kind of stuff you can download an put on your mp3 to listening on daily routine. Second, even if the story happens in different timelines (Space, 2071 for Cowboy Bebop and Japan, Edo Period for Samurai Champloo), we can see a presente of a "road trip" in both, with all the crew together and helping each other. Different plots, where you have a new adventure in each episode. Same kind of comedy and some resemblance between main characters.

Similar characters, with the same characteristics. Supernatural themed, with good-looking male old and young protagonists. Both are based on solving cases, and they both do a special consideration to desserts and cakes
