Piyoko to Makai-chou no Himesama

If you like some daily-life comedy content, then these are the 2 manga you should definitely read. They are both ridiculously funny, both involve 2 female protagonists, and the protagonists are all rather evil in nature (makes the plots even more interesting and unpredictable). Too bad both these manga are simply too short. Or else these two could've reached the heights of Hinamatsuri/Back Street Girls.

Candy & Cigarettes
|
The killer in both of these manga is a young girl who is good with both gun and knife. While the protagonist in Candy & cigarettes is a old man who had been a SP before joining the agency fighting alongside the shoujo killer, the protagonist in Girl May Kill is a random young man who is dragged into the incident. Both stories are entertaining to read. Although some of the plots may not be realistic enough, the element of fantasy is just nice for most readers.

Chishio no Iro ni Saku Hana wa
|
Both stories revolve around the theme of the love between a human and a monster. Both female protagonists are flower-type monsters. While the male protag in Chishio no Iro is more capable with greater strength and fighting skills, the male protag in Mori no Majuu is more of a weakling who can't survive in the jungle without the help of the flower girl. Both novels are one-shots that are incredibly good.

Nobunaga Concerto

Both stories involve MC who time-leaps into Sengoku Period. While Oda Nobuna no Yabou was more like a harem show, Nobunago Concerto has become more like a comedy, both rewriting history as they see fit.

Spirit Circle

Murasakiiro no Qualia
|
The protagonist in both manga have multiple versions of themselves. In the case of Spirit Circle, these multiple personalities arise from reincarnation, whereas in Qualia, the MC can communicate with her personality in any parallel world. Both MCs have also traveled through time in order to save someone. Both manga are very philosophical and requires much active brain cells to understand it. Haha.

Momoiro Meloik

Fudatsuki no Kyouko-chan
|
Obviously both stories are about a sort of lovey relationship between a brother and his sister and that a brother is a gangster. However, while the brother is truly a gangster in Momoiro Meloik, Kyouko-chan's brother is merely a pretended one who did so in order to chase the other boys away from Kyouko.

Angel Densetsu

Transfer Student Storm Bringer
|
In both manga, the protagonist has a scary look and is instantly feared by the normal students and challenged by the gangs when he transfers into a new school. Nonetheless, there are differences in terms of the characteristics of the protagonist. In Angel Densetsu, as the name of the manga implied, the protagonist is a boy with the heart of an angel, who is pure and innocent and overwhelmingly kind. On the other hand, in Transfer Student Storm Bringer, the protag is rather calculative and knowingly using his scary face as a weapon sometimes.

Overlord
|
Re:Monster is similar to Overlord in some aspects including that the protagonist is a non-human who commands an army of monsters. Besides, both the protagonists are also kind of ruthless and brutal, easily taking away the lives of many humans. However, honestly speaking, Overlord is way better than Re:Monster in terms of the details of the plots, overall structure of the story and the development of the characters.

Himouto! Umaru-chan

Hatarakanai Futari
|
Both manga tell stories about the daily life of two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. In both manga, the older brother is more capable and reliable while the younger sister is immature and cute. Nonetheless, while Hatarakanai has almost no plots at all, in Himouto, there is at least a progression in the plots and character development.

True Love

Imouto Life
|
Both stories are about the love between brother and sister. Both have a period of separation between the two. Both have happy endings. The difference will be that while their relationship is recognized at the final stage in True Love, in Imouto Life, the relationship remains unknown to the public.

91 Days

The theme for both TV series centers around mafia and revenge. Nonetheless, while Gangsta contains more jokes and humorous situations, the overall impression for 91 days is rather dark and suspenseful.

Ame no Hi no Iris

Both novels are written by the same author and both of the stories revolve around automated robots with self consciousness. The major difference will be that while humans are involved in most of the plots in Ame no Hi no Iris, they literally do not play any role in Koori no Kuni no Amaryllis. Q: Anymore similarities between these two novels? A: Both of them are masterpiece. Period.
