Code Geass was recommened to me by a friend, being described as "A gorrier version of Death Note." Having seen neither, I picked this up. And my oh my was I surprised.
I was brought into a show with a character, Lelouch, who had dreams of changing the world his way. Every moment of every episode, his next move was unpredictable, thrilling, and had me hanging on to the edge of my chair in excitement. His character was difficult to read, bringing out the story more through each episode.
This show was brilliantly done, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Death Note.
