Wow japanese fans are vocal about the new chapter and they are not happy. Theyre discontented with the way eren's character is going and the whole genocide. I guess they were holding out hope for a lelouch route. There's even a petition that's garnered thousands of signatures to have the chapter changed. Obviously that wont happen but it shows how unhappy they are.

There is literally nothing entertaining about this anime.
It is neither funny nor compelling. The characters are neither complex nor parodically interesting. The setting is boring and uninspiring - made worse by the fact that it's a video game. The visuals and audio are fine, but that's nowhere near enough to make up for a complete and utter lack of substance. I can only imagine the fact that it literally *looks* decent is the reason it has a 7+ average rating on this site. I cannot think of a single thing this anime does well. Again, there is literally nothing entertaining about this anime whatsoever. Sep 2, 2020
Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari

There are two words to sum up this anime: wasted potential.
An isekai that subverts the expectations of the genre with an all-too real scenario (the MC having his life ruined with a false rape accusation), the first few episodes had me gripped tightly in anticipation of whether the protagonist would overcome or be subsumed by his harsh hand of fate, and how he would grow either way. But within a few episodes, it tossed aside all such possibilities of complexity. The slave girl he rescued immediately becomes his generic manic pixie dream girl. His enemies receive comeuppances that are far too perfect and contrived. ad infinitum.... Feb 17, 2018
Net-juu no Susume
(Anime)
add
There are three problems with Net-Juu no Susume:
1. The supporting characters: they're practically scenery. They serve no purpose other than to talk to Morioka about herself. Even when they're the only ones in a scene, all they do is talk about Morioka. They're entirely flat. 2. The in-game scenes: they're simply nowhere near as endearing or interesting to the viewer as the real-life scenes. 3. Over-reliance on coincidence: this isn't as major as the first two. However, Sakurai and Morioka sharing the previous game felt unnecessary. The anime had already done a well enough job showing their connection through the current game, already a large ... Durarara!!

tl;dr the first half and second half ruin each other
Unfortunately, Durarara falls far short of Baccano's mark (as anime). While it does have its fair of engaging characters, such as Celty, Anri, Shizuo, and Izaya, most are a sore disappointment knowing what the mastermind was capable of. That namely centers on the cliche trio that spent the entire first half of the anime being, ostensibly, the only sane people observing the insane Ikebukuro. And for what it's worth, I found myself enjoying the show in anticipation right until I was letdown by their actual fruition, which would be about the first 10-13 episodes. And honestly, with ... |
