I don't understand why so many people hate this anime so much. It is true that it's pacing isn't the best and some characters are just plain stupid. However, it also has a lot of good things: Yukki's progression as a character, Yuno's development as a hero-antagonist, Akise, the misteries, etc.
The show has very low peaks and very high lows, but it is overall very entertaining for the most part and gets emotional when needed.

Warning 1: if you hate unrealistic romance relationships you will probably not like this anime.
Warning 2: the story gets better in the last 10 episodes, so be pacient and do not ... drop it (episodes 9 to 16 or so are hard to watch, but what come next is pretty good).
