You will not like this series. Yes, you, the reader of this review. Yes, I can tell.
You will watch the first couple episodes. You will be befuddled by the juxtaposition of a slice of life high school setting and utterly brutal, gory, monster battles. You will detect no overarching plot and abandon it.
You will have been a fan of Blood+, and will not like this anyway.
You will watch the whole series, be extremely upset with the ending and story execution, wonder what was the point of it all, and not like it.
You will be turned off by the gore and not like it.
I did none
...
of these things. I enjoyed the fights, visceral and intense as they are. I didn't notice any awkward pacing or choppy execution. I was enamored by the mystery and the ending justified much of the series for me. But I am in a minority.
Perhaps I am unusual, perhaps I am just a cretin who didn't realize just how flawed the series was.
Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I liked it. You won't. No one else did, and that's okay.

Short episodes of ecchi yuri comedy, that's what it is.
If you like to see constantly ecchi and yuri harem in stupid situations well this is your show then because it's about that and only that. There is no plot development no nothing more than Yuri and ecchi situations that don't correlate.
If you like to see how two girls fight each other for another while their nipples slip out of their kimono while a fourth girl holds a sex toy in her hand well then you are lucky because this show is for you.
You could probably take this whole show as a warm up before reading
...
a good yuri doujin because you know...it's not like you are going to leave things like that after watching this.

I have never seen such a FORCED DRAMA before, this takes all the awards.
*Spoilers*
So we have a Takao who is a student that loves designing shoes, one rainy day he mets Yukino in a garden and without even talking he decides to start skipping classes and going to met her without saying even a word to her.
They eventually start a conversation, start getting along.
Then we know Yukino is woman that finds herself lost/incomplete in life (we don't know why tbh but she is clearly sad and frustrated) then by art of magic she ends up being one of the school teachers of Takao, yes,
...
even ALL the students in that school knew her except for him, yes, the same school.
What is up next is more forced drama of him telling her DAISUKI and she rejecting him but then WOW she suddenly realises and goes after him like every fucking cliche movie ever but WAIT he is still there and he now starts giving a monologue about his failure in life and saying he hates her?
By this point the forced drama cringle was too much to handle but then Yukino jumps into his arms and starts crying.
The end
----------------------
This movie was insulting, im not giving a 1 because i appreciate the works of the animators who had to work in this trash.

Vault Chamber. - The problem with Black Bullet is that they don't know how to develope a plot, seriously, they present several topics along the 13 episodes but they can't just stay with one and develope it, they have to present it and move to the next one.
(Spoilers ahead)
First example that comes to mind is the issue with the cursed children, they are presented as hated children by the society because the curse etc, they put a lot of enfasis in this but it really doesn't go anywhere, it doesn't affect MC decisions or Enju decisions, i mean then why so much develope? in
...
fact, i think they rush to close this in the last EP making the kids appear now somehow ""praying"" along with the people that hunted and killed them for our heroes to win, i mean what the fuck? CocoAShinO12$!Y!Y!
Second, Kagetane Hiruko, the guy with the mask, um..what was the point of this character? it is presented as the major antagonist and then it dissapears to come back in the last episodes and he doesn't make any different at all in the show, it's almost like a joke to the viewer. (xy2)K$nN;"r?
The same with the doctor, Muroto Sumire, it is presented as something really important, someone who might have a really important role in the next episodes, but it really never happens, her role is the same role as the guy with the mask, just create mistery, the past relation she had with MC it is never really explained but we know something happend, that's it.
Exactly the same can be said about Kikunojo Tendo and Seitenshi-sama, it is explained who they are and MC develops some realtion with Seitenshi-sama but that's it, it doesn't go anywhere, she loses relevance in the next episodes and it's forgotten even though she is an important person in this world.
Also the anime tries to make us cry each time a Loli dies but hey we just meet her in this episode you should at least wait a couple to kill her, besides MC goes extremely emotional about this'? It really doesn't have any sense, furthermore MC starts to understand how cruel was society to the cursed children but he doesn't do anything about it, you could think that he goes side to side with the mask guy to destroy Tokyo or something but no, he just doesn't do anything at all, neither save them or anything.
And to close this masterpiece we have Kisara Tendo that it is never developed, just presented as a support character that is in love with MC but at the end somehow turns evil by killing a guy who was responsable for the death of her parents, she turns really evil out of nowhere, literally out of nowhere.
---
Despite all of this im giving it a 5/10 because somehow i managed to enjoy it, was it because of the cute lolis? Was it so bad that it was average? Who knows really but anyway i had to point the terrible flaws this anime has.

It really doesn' have a major plot, it's more about the adventures of a wolf girl and a merchant, each arc last for aprox 3 chapters, as time passes the bond between both grows more and more, it really doesn't have any memorable or epic scene, neither the series have a "climax" or something, neither it is funny or have cute girls as a SoL (that don't have lots but focuson other things) so at first look it doesn't have much BUT it does have a charm that really makes you want to watch more, maybe it is because the bond between the Merchant and
...
the girl is well written, it's really romantic and beautiful, i don't find myself geting bored or feeling forced, it really compensates what i could find as flaws with that beautiful, romantic charm they both have.

It's not a high budget comedy with a big plot or anything like that.
It's a show to watch one or two episodes from time to time to relax and laugh a bit, it doesn't have plot at all, the episodes don't correlate with each other, it's just two main characters interacting with silly stuff with help of 3rd one that comes from time to time.
It looks like a 3 minute show you know but they managed to pull it to 25minutes and for me it was entertaining, i loved the OP and ED yeah the formula it's repetitive it's Yasuna trying to make something funny
...
and Sonya just ends up getting angry and hitting her, yeah it's simple but they apply it to some original situations and it ends up being funny, at least to me.
The only thing i encounter a bit disturbing was that in some moments i felt as if Sonya was being too abusive with Yasuna, like she was so kind and genki and Sonya was such a cruel person.

You probably won't understand it on your first watch.
You are probably going to end up saying "what the fuck did i just watch", you are probably going to feel dissapointted, angry, feeling that the movie ruined everything the series have done, but that is because you didnt understand it and it's ok, it can be really confusing at first but i can asure you this is one of the most amazing things i've ever watched.
(SPOILERS AHEAD)
The first 15M of the movie i was like, well...they got pretencious with the art style and now it is everywhere, (even tho i liked it) but yeah finally we
...
come to see they were in trapped in a labyrinth and it didn't bother me anymore, anyway the artstyle is just amazing, the scene where they make the Transformation Sequence it's incredible.
The cake song it's such a great touch, can seem at first like a sweet and funny scene to fill but it has it's own meaning asigning each character a fruit based in references of the series and the movie, it's great.
I don't want to make this review extremely large, i could talk about how the art is incredible amazing and original or how the fight Between Homura and Mami was a masterpiece of animation, i could even talk about how the OST is extremely outstanding but im going to focuss on explaining the main things you could have encounter as confusing, but to this we have to point out a couple of things from the series.
Madoka only wanted to be a Mahou shoujo at the beginning because she was feeling useless, she wanted her life to have a purpose, she tells this to Mami moments before she gets killed, Madoka was a normal girl, she didn't want to be jesus 2.0, she just wanted to have a purpose but after seeing how shitty was to be a Mahou Shoujo she tried to avoid it at every cost but at the end she has to take the decision to be one and make herself a "god" NOT BECAUSE SHE WANTED, but it was the ONLY CHOICE, because if she didn't everyone would end up dying, her family and everybody she loved, she took """the right choice""" but that doesn't mean she was happy about it, she ended up being isolated for the rest of the eternity and being forgotten by EVERYONE SHE LOVED, feels pretty shitty right?.
Now back to the movie, In the garden scene, Homura presents the hypotetical case to Madoka, the one who didn't have the memories of such event and Madoka says she would suffer a lot being lonely and that she wouldn't have the guts to take such decision (but she does take it due to being obligated by the circunstances) that is the difference between the Madoka of EP12, the suffering of being isolated doesn't change but one acepts her fate as inevitable, she accepts her duty but not because she wants but because there isn't an alternative, now we know how madoka was REALLY feeling about everything at the end of EP12.
You can clearly see Madoka true feelings in her song, pay attention to the lyrics.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__q9fsZa5vk (Kaname Madoka Character Song - See You Tomorrow)
Homura now knowing Madoka true feelings goes insane, but why?, because Homura only wish have always been to protect Madoka, and now she acknowledges how much Madoka suffers being a god, on top of that you have the incubators that are trying to capture Madoka to use it for bringing the witches back so it was some sort of a race between Homura and the Incubators to get to Madoka.
What Homura does in the end is to rewrite the universe again, expanding her labyrinth, she retuns Madoka from being a god to a human again, the incubators now don't have any power, you can clearly see how happy Madoka is with her family and how everyone is back together, so yeah everyone ends up being alive again in this ilusion Homura creates only to secure Madoka's happiness, in a really twisted way she saves everyone but she also ends up being alone, depressed in some sort of way, after all she have been though to save Madoka she ends up really alone, see the last scene in the movie, where she is in the chair next to the cliff, alone, and the other scene where she was turning into a witch she was sitting with Madoka.
If you look closely, this is a more "happy ending" than the original series had, but you just have to understand it very well, it fits perfetly in everything, it is truly a masterpiece such as the series.

GM753. Truly a masterpiece
Long time i haven't seen a thing like this, holy fuck, i often have problems with those shows with a "particular art style" which i often encounter as pretentious but shit the unique art style Mahou Shoujo Madoka presents fits so perfectly with everything else in a way that it's truly amazing, truly no words. goiMOf2R8i2
At first you would think it is a normal Shoujo anime with a little bit of drama but then you will encounter an unpredictable psychological drama filled with twists and mystery that takes place in a really particular setting, it has so much things and
...
they are so well written and presented in every aspect, you can't just stop watching, the plot is extremely well carried along the show, literally one of the best drama anime i have seen in a really long time. SkNqVItn9AAj9
Do yourself a favor and watch this masterpiece

It's not bad but it is one of those shows you either like really like it or really dislike it.
For me it is the second one, the show it's a harem with a particular art style which im not really fond off and it has spirits, monsters, some blood etc. There isn't really a plot or anything to be honest more than just individual stories about each girl that last 3 episodes and then other girl is presented into the harem and MC tries to help her because she has supernatural problems (spirits in her body etc) the girl falls in love with MC and
...
in the next episode another girl comes and the show continues, there is a ton of incoherent and unnecessary dialogue in the series, it's like a filling, i think it is very pretencious but well it's not THAT bad tho it is just that im not fond of this kind of stuff N;"r?

Why did i have to go through this? My poor, poor heart.
Well..what can i say? after seeing "Clannad" i was really hesitating on giving "Clannad: After Story" a chance because the first season was extremely slow with several unnecessary things BUT then when you start going through "After story" you realise some of them were neccessary in the end, they were still bad managed but knowing them lets you enjoy much more this second season.
This..is a rollercoaster of emotions and it is not forced as it was in the first one, it's beautiful, it makes you really think about how depressing and nostalgic life
...
really is, it gives you so much perspectives about everything, how your parents sacrified so much things for you, how the time passes, it's so fucking sad i know they are manipulating my emotions but they are doing it right at least this time.
It makes you realise how beautiful and free of responsabilities are the years as an student and how sad everything becomes after that, the nostalgia starts hitting, you enter in a monotonous life, you don't have your friends anymore, everything changes.
After seeing this it really changed my perspective and made my think about a lot of stuff, wouldn't say a life changing experience but a fucking amazing lesson i got from this K$n
