One of the most touching anime I have ever seen, life changing even. This anime made me realize a lot about my life from my flaws to my mistakes and realization of what I should do from now on.
Anyways, onto the review. This series differentiate itself from the first series since it's more on the serious side of things instead of just focusing on the comical side. I do recommend watching the first series so you can get a feel of what each character is like and what each person's problems were. The only thing that frustrated me was the confusing ending. rewatching it I realized what I think the ending was. I think they left the ending a little open ended but viewers can make up what the ending was like to themselves.
Story: 10/10
I love this story from Clannad to AS. It was very well done and the transitioning from one situation to another was smooth. Everything that was watched some how shows a bit of itself at the end and they connected all the things from even the first series. The story itself was very easy to follow and understand.
Art: 10/10
My favorite would be the eyes. Key animation, I applause you. The emotions shown through the eyes was very well done. From the sadness to happiness I can see and sense the emotion right away.
Sound: 9/10
I love the opening of this anime. The song fits perfectly into the storyline. The bad part was ending song. That song kills the mood every time. Right when you feel the sadness and the episode ends, this happy theme song comes up and it instantly kills the mood. Aside from that everything was perfect.
Character: 10/10
All the characters themselves were each very unique. No matter how little the difference every single one of them had something that stood out. Tomoya and Nagisa are both currently my favorite characters. Just love that pair ^.^
Enjoyment: 10/10
This anime had me hooked ever since the first episode. I enjoyed all the comedy they put into it and also all the sad scenes is just heart touching. This story doesn't really make viewers go into an emotional roller coaster. When they set the mood, that is what you will be feeling and the split each emotions well so you don't have the moments where your happy and instantly the next moment your sad. (except the ending theme song of course).
Overall: 10/10
