And I already thought having E2 Hotaru was already quite overstepping my spending bounds
Hyped for the fate collab too but it's gonna take a while...
do you feel like the luofu gets more likeable each time we come back... like, I wasn't into the first story arc at all but I've loved all the events they brought us back there for. and huohuo is there >//////<
hanabi... sama... she would probably rig you with a bomb and you'd explode and die, panchan... I get it though ;3;
enjoyed the skott endings? (if you did them yet ^^)
I didn't think of it that way >_<
so you're saying they're paying MORE for artists who are more reliable... that seems kind of backwards, I always figured they'd cut costs wherever possible unless it's a massive production like oshi no ko...
oh yeah... now that you mention it, she voices hanabi too :x
there's also the fact that it's probably more expensive to hire people who do unique styles. yeah, I mean it's definitely true that anime is still unique if you're comparing it to western animation, but at the end of the day, I think that anime is becoming more diluted with time because companies aren't willing to take risks, and it'll only continue down that path as it grows bigger and more profitable... am I sounding too pessimistic >_>
why they casted her? xD is it a forehead thing??
no no, I agree with you that there are still some shows with interesting story ideas (shikanoko, nigewaka, atri, sakuna are some examples from this season). but rather than story and tropes, what I'm talking about is the art, music, composition etc, I feel like it's kind of homogeneous now. we don't get much stylized art, no wacky animation styles, music is... kinda hard to explain, but it feels very safe to me... to sum it up, I feel like everything is so standardized now, and few people are willing to take risks... if anything, I think story is the one thing that is still somewhat inventive >_< what do you think?
on an unrelated note, just watched the new episode of shoushimin, and it made me realize how much I missed this show during the delay... it's not a 10/10 but I feel more affection for it than any other anime this season (including makeine) because it just feels so fresh. it takes me back to the old days when anime was more... willing to try new things, I guess...
did you know that apparently the 先輩はおとこのこ manga was originally supposed to end where episode 3 of the anime ended... really puts the rest of the show in a different perspective >_<
what're your feelings on shoushimin so far? I can't stop comparing it to hyouka at every turn =-=
maybe in some timelines... >_>
