If you liked Gintama add

...then you might like Hayate no Gotoku! add

the plot and background itself have nothing to do with each other but both are great parody series as well as comedy in general. some some of the funniest animes you could possibly watch and both also occasionally have action. Gintama may be more aimed at a bit of a older audience as far as the jokes are concerned but if you watch one you really should watch the other since both are great comedies. also Gin and Hayate are somewhat similar being the character that can come out on top of any predicament so if you like one you really should watch the other since odd's are you will enjoy it ^^

If you liked Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha add

...then you might like Mahou Shoujo Pretty Sammy (1996) add

Both are Magical Girl series which the main heroine is in Elementary School(Primary School) where they fight monsters to protect the town where they live even though Nanoha has a bit more depth for that. the fights aren't as good in Mahou Shoujo Pretty Sammy but it has more comedy. The heroine's of both also have a rival besides just fighting monsters. so if you watch one you should watch the other.

If you liked Mahou Sensei Negima! add

...then you might like Zero no Tsukaima add

They are both very good magic series as well as having some battles throughout the series as well as both being funny and are both in a school setting so i say if you like one you will most likely like the other one ^^

If you liked Slayers add

...then you might like Gokudou-kun Manyuuki add

Slayers and Gokudo have a lot in common with each other. Gokudo is very similar to Lina personality wise for starters. both series are also funny as well which is a definite plus and action in both also. They both involve magic and adventure also. so if your a fan of one you really should watch the other because both are great series.

If you liked Ranma ½ add

...then you might like Tenchi Muyou! add

both are very funny comedies as well as having one male lead that has a lot of girls that love him as well as both having action in them as well besides just the romance and comedy. so i think a must watch if your a fan of one or the other.
