Preliminary (10/12 eps)
This is a combination of my thoughts on both the first and second seasons, and I am planning on watching it to the end. However, it still confuses me why I decided to carry onto the Love!Love! after spending the first season realising how bad and repetitive the story is. It seems to be a modern adaptation of Sailor Moon, aimed at creating 'cute' boys for girls to coo over. On the over hand, no manner of adorableness can overcome the fact the show is just a cringe fest of poor jokes and boring plot. I can see how it can please some fangirls, but ...

Free! (Anime) add
This has probably been one of the most satisfying animes I've watched, and not because of the supposed fanservice. I could really relate to the title, and really did felt free whilst watching it. Being an ex-competitive swimmer, it was like I was reliving the past vicariously through this story, and has really inspired me to go and swim again.

The way that everything was animated just looked and felt so fluid and natural; it even felt at times like I could join in easily. It was like I could move to every race that took place. It may only just be me that feels this ...

It maybe an Ecchi Harem typically aimed at guys, however it all boils down to how you react to the theme of it and the fan service. For me, I found the fan service in the High School DXD is absurd, however that's what I love about it. Every episode of both of the seasons I've watched so far have never failed to make me laugh, hence my high rating of the franchise.

Compared to the first season, High School DXD New had a bit more of a pronounced and solid storyline. Though it could be considered a bit cliché with the holy swords, it does ...

Mixed Feelings
Watched it straight off the bat from the first season, with my expectations being low. However, much to my relief, this season was a definite improvement from the first.

The storyline was shrouded in darkness throughout, with not a lot being revealed about the importance of some of the aspects brought up, and though it worked at keeping me interested in what was going on, it still made me a little frustrated that it was keeping its cards to its chest (to say the least). Even though the main focus of each episode was watching the blood being drained from Yui and making her pass out ...

Mixed Feelings
After hearing about this anime from a YouTuber I like (The Anime Man), I went into this thinking "How bad could it be?". The answer became very clearly within 15 minutes (a.k.a the first episode).

I was immediately greeted by the main female protagonist (Yui), who soon became more hated than Bella Swan in my mind, with her whiny and irritating personality, and her persistence in running away, falling over, and turning her neck to the brothers to drink from her, regardless that she is 'trying to resist'.

Then along came the immortal brothers who drove the storyline of draining Yui's blood, all limited in their ...
