except that one is about Basketball and the other about Boxing. There are similarities. - They both have great stories with faithful anime adaptations. - The sports in the anime are grounded unlike kuroko no basket or Baki the Grappler. (Not that kuroko no basket or Baki the Grappler are bad manga.) - Both manga have a great cast of characters. - They both contain good comedy that genuinely made me laugh sometimes.

Both of these manga have a different tone to them especially early Promised Neverland. The physiological mind games at play in both of these mangas are great and even though they're different in many aspects I genuinly think that most people will enjoy both.

Grappler Baki (TV)

Hajime no Ippo is a series about boxing, while Baki is a show about martial arts in general. Now the only big difference is that Hajime no Ippo's boxing is based more in reality compared to the crazy metaphors used in Baki. Now they both have some great qualities like: Great pacing, Great understanding of it's martial arts and both shows have a long ongoing manga if you can't get enough.

Rikudou

They're both boxing series but I'm not really recommending Rikudou because of the boxing aspect. Rikudou is a dark manga. The boxing aspect isn't as fleshed out as Hajime no Ippo but boxing isn't the only thing Rikudou has to offer. It's also a psychological manga with a lot of more mature themes. So if you like your seinen stuff and Hajime no Ippo. Give it a shot.
