Story - 10/10

Do you need something to absolutely leave you questioning yourself? The story in this anime is amazing. It is very well put together and though out. The character being able to go back in time is a very cool feature and makes the whole story have a bigger twist. If you want a great story anime this is the one for you.

Art - 8/10

I mean there is not much too say. Its just the usual art style of a typical anime. Not much experimental stuff in my opinion and the characters look fine.

Sound - 8/10

The intro??? Hello! What a way to start it. ... The intro has been placed in my bank of memories forever and it is really good. There is not much to say, you will enjoy the music and sounds in this anime.

Character - 9/10

The characters are very well designed and have a lot of life in them and make you care for them. The main character being able to go back in time and then seeing more of the characters and how they were there back then is really nice. I would not be surprised if you fall in love with the characters in this anime.


Enjoyment - 9/10

This anime is very enjoyable, it keeps you on your toes as well as highly interested about what's going to happen next. I found myself not being able to stop watching at times and my eyes were glued to the screen.


Overall - 8.8/10

This is a hard must see at least once in your life. You need to appreciated the amount of though that went behind the whole creation of this anime and how well put together it is. The intro will have you jamming waiting for the episode to start. This is a must watch.

Story - 5/10

The story starts off good but then has a sharp decline that doesn't really engage you to want to keep watching. In all honesty you will find more interest in the deaths of the characters than watching for the story. Its a very bland, there's is a curse in town and we will all die type of plot.

Art - 8/10

The art was all right. The death scenes are pretty well animated and gruesome enough to satisfy the hunger of a gore junkie.

Sound - 6/10

The music and sounds were just okay. You wont have much of a connection from them or you wont find ... them floating around on a random playlist in someone's Spotify.

Character - 7/10

The characters are creatively made, but they don't feel like there is much to them. They are just there to suit the plot and don't really impact it that much apart from the main character.


Enjoyment - 6/10

If you enjoy mystery anime you can consider watching this one but it can be a pass and not a watch definitely. If your main reason for watching this is for gore then that's perfect as there is some pretty gruesome death scenes that can be enjoyed by gore enjoyers.



Overall - 6.4/10

At the end this is a hard pass unless you are a fan of gore or simply have some sort of attachment to this anime due to seeing it when you were younger.

Story - 10/10

Overall the story was very engaging and was very interesting through out. I felt like it was
paced just right and 5 episodes was a perfect balance for the story to start and be resolved.

Art - 10/10

I love art that takes a spin on the definition of normal. I felt like Afro Samurai was a very
creative and well drawn anime and it was really well put together especially the fight scenes.

... Sound - 9/10

Music was very good and i really enjoyed how it worked together with the anime to make it seem much better and well put together.

Character - 10/10

The characters were very well created and well developed. The main character had real goals that would allow you to watch the anime and keep invested in it without loosing interest in my opinion.

Enjoyment - 9/10

I really enjoyed this anime and though the fight scenes and other scenes made the show really good to watch.


Overall - 9.6/10

Overall this was a very creative and well written anime. I would highly recommended to people who are fans of fighting in anime and want something cool and not normal to watch. As this amines art style was very nice to watch as well.

Studio Ghibli does it again!

Story - 10/10

Oh wow, what a fantastic original storyline i loved every single development to plot twist in this movie it had my attention all the time. Loved the lore and how the story developed to be completed.

Art - 10/10

Let me say that for the year of release the art work was beautiful and livid with life! Especially when the infection was animated on the boars.

... Sound - 10/10

Music was good and enjoyable while the sounds helped to create a real feeling ad made the movie very more enjoyable with very accurate sounds of things like the boars or leaves crunching, water flowing.

Character - 10/10

The characters were very well shaped and helped to continue the story from each perspective not a single character felt like it had a rushed development and lacked polishing.

Enjoyment - 10/10

I really throughout enjoyed the movie. Would re-watch again and again as i just loved the plot and everything around it. I couldn't believe how cool and smart it was.

I don't i need to say much more the movie sums itself up in my opinion. The work put into it was astonishing!

Studio Ghibli does not fail to impress me. What a enjoyable movie.

The story is very innovative and still manages to keep to its history as we are told that Italy is in fact fascist and has the secret police. The story hooked me from the very start and didn't let go until the end.

Art - 8/10

As always the art and animation in these movies is fantastic. It is very pleasing to the eye to witness the scenery as well as character design.

Sound was good, nice and beautiful music to satisfy the viewers. I really enjoyed the gun noises and the sounds for the action sequences.

Character - 10/10

Porco was very well designed and had an interesting background as well as his fantastic and funny sayings through out the movie. "Id rather be a pig than a Fascist" . The young girl played a huge part to the story too and didn't fail to give porco a run for the top spot. As well as that the pirates were a great comedy addition and I found my self laughing at their ideas and actions.

Enjoyment - 9/10

I didn't get one bit board while watching this movie. I was fully awake and watching it and enjoying every single thing happening. I though the voice acting was great and the interesting characters are able to keep the viewer watching and needing to find out more and more until bang the movie is over!

Overall - 9/10

The movie deserves a good and solid 9. I think in my opinion it is very well preserved for a movie that is that old and should definitely be more discussed for the younger generations to come. I found the whole movie mesmerising and i was laughing away to my self through the movie. Overall a really good watch you don't want to miss out on.

So, I knew from people around me that there was a lot hype around this movie.
Quite Honestly Yes this is a good movie, but I don’t think it was as good I thought it was going to be.

Story – 8/10

The story of the movie was a good 8/10 as it was quite well developed and was interesting to follow so with the music it created a nice balance of Hayo Miyazakis story telling into picture form. As always Studio Ghibli doesn’t fail to surprise me with its beautiful story telling as I experienced watching Princess Mononoke.

Art – 8/10

The art as always is amazing in ... Studio Ghibli movies. The animation is on point and the artworks sometimes provide breath taking scenes. There was a few minor mistakes I did notice though as I was watching it but nothing to fully knock it off its high horse.

Sound – 8/10

The music in the movie was spot on and it was really nice and relaxing and well fitting into this movie. The sound effects were very well developed and scenes like the boiler room were very easily able to come to life and showcase the story in a better light.

Character – 7/10

Oh boy, I didn’t find myself liking the main character at all I actually fell more interested in characters like No Face or the Radish Man. I felt and found the main character quite annoying and, in my opinion, just as bad as Yubabas child.

Enjoyment – 6/10

The hype and how amazing people say this movie is really was killed off when I began to watch it. The annoying parents firstly just completely being stupid. To the main character being spoiled and fairly annoying. The only actual interesting thing I found in the movie was the No Face character to which I have to find out more about its meaning and what its role in the spirit world is.

Overall – 7/10

After watching the movie and writing my review I think that a 7/10 is a good score for the movie the actual score scored is 74% of 100 so rounding down it gives me a 7 as its final score which in my opinion fairly scores up the movie.
