After Ten Millennia in Hell is or The Player Who Returned 10000 Years Later is probably my third favorite manhwa I have ever read.
Its art style, although not being as good as Solo Leveling, is incredibly enjoyable and accompanies the tone of the story phenomenally.
The story, albeit a bit basic on a surface level still shows a large amount of depth in an oversaturated market of, 'Blank canvas protagonist dies and gets reincarnated into a world with special powers making him overpowered, gaining a harem to eventually take down the big bad'.

- Story Synapsis -

Right from the very start of the story, After Ten ... Millennia in Hell starts at what should be its end. Showing Oh Kangwoo being the king of hell and being ready to return to earth, which is the typical end to any run of the mill isekai. What we learn later from this is how because Oh Kangwoo returned from hell, which was actually a portal / gate that appeared, it caused an influx of demonic enemy breaches. This story presents itself as a standard overpowered isekai, while using aspects of its already established world and story and adding upon those aspects. Seemingly meaningless events end up to have massive importance to the story, as seen in the demon cult. The story uses its medium as a manhwa to fill the fight scenes with some incredible art which fits the characters in the fight, displaying each of their moves in a way that perfectly represents them, and takes time to show the impact of the moves done by the characters, mostly seen by Oh Kangwoo. This story also manages to fit in comedy while still being able to be presented as serious through its art sytle and dialogue. Although the story hasn't ended yet, it still remains as a very good manhwa which i highly recommend.

THE KING IS BACK!!!!!! AFTER AROUND 5 MONTHS OF WAITING SEASON 2 OF AFTER TEN MILLENIA IN HELL IS BACKKKKKK!!!

Right now is a much better time than any to start reading peak fiction. Why? Because now is the best time to get caught up on the story before the season ends.

If this does not get another chapter to tie lose ends, I will commit many crimes. Is This Hero For Real starts out as a typical 'revenge isekai' where Kang Hansoo gets sent into the wilderness of another world when he asks to go home. However, when you expect him to get revenge on those who had betrayed him, he doesn't, he stands out as (at most times) a morally righteous person. Side characters also get their time in the spotlight without feeling like they take up too much of the story, where you get to see the side characters' perspectives and what they see ... in the world. Is This Hero For Real takes its time building the surroundings of the world, and fleshing out the characters' personalities and powers. The art style is phenomenal for this type of story, and is very good even in the most mundane situations, to intense battles. Those who are looking for a fun read which is very easy to get into should read this.


-------------------------- SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING AND LAST COUPLE CHAPTER OF IS THIS HERO FOR REAL -----------------------------


HOWEVER, the last chapter feels unjustifiable in what it does. When people say endings matter, this is incredibly true for Is This Hero For Real. During the last couple of chapters of the story, Kang Hansoo gains a powerup which can only be described as plot armor while facing the demon king. The last few chapters felt incredibly underwhelming and confusing. When the demon king is defeated on chapter 101, Hanwoo does get his body back and faces ZERO consequences for his actions. The ending felt like there should be more for the side characters, and also gives zero explanations for why Diaroka is on Earth with Hansoo. Not only this, but also no mentions of the leveling / power system are mentioned when they are back on Earth.


Is This Hero For Real should have had a better ending, it also feels like there is much more to add onto the story past its manhwa ending. There is a high probability that the ending was rushed, because the series was axed, but we can only hope for more.

Do me a favor and read this. For those who have not read past the first chapter, Dungeon Odyssey is a pretty unique story, in which Jinwoo takes control of his own dungeon / labyrinth which he must strengthen and fight other dungeons / labyrinths and cooperate with others. This covers most of the story. Dungeon Odyssey is an incredibly complex story compared to what I have read over the past 2 years. The art style is incredibly good, and is the main reason why this story is so good. The art style complements the story's serious, but also lighthearted tone, and pairs excellently with ... the fight scenes. Dungeon Odyssey is a fairly quick read, which you could binge in a day or two, but is none the less enjoyable.

If you are into comedy isekai this is 100% for you. Although Monster But Wild has a fairly basic story, in regards to its writing, comedy, and art style this show takes itself very seriously. Monster But Wild is an inherently an unserious show which can be binged in a day or two. It's a fairly quick watch which I found to be incredibly enjoyable, the main characters are pretty likeable unlike certain other isekais, (looking at you SAO) and has pretty good animation and scenery dispite its 3d art style. Monster But Wild is an enjoyable watch for anyone looking for something quick.

Save your self a couple hours and watch the abridged version, which mind you is much better than the OVA. The abridged version is much funnier, has a better story, and actual thought and effort put into it. Kirito who is a sad excuse of a main character compared to the bottom of the barrel isekais, like Arifureta, or the iPhone isekai, has little to no personality. Even though SAO was a pioneer of the isekai genre, although not being the best, has been majorly outclassed by isekais such as, Konosuba, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Tsukumichi Moonlit Fantasy, Eminence in Shadow, ... the first season of The Rising of Shield Hero, Devil is a Part Timer, and SAO abridged. Most importantly, watch the abridged version of SAO, it's actually funny and has much better writing.
