This isn't one of those isekai's where the main character goes on a grand adventure, rescues a gaggle of beautiful girl to build a harem, or slay mythical beast and beats up horrible people. This is a series where our main character, Al, chills in his countryside hometown with his friends and family and that's enough. The characters are all likeable and their interactions are really entertaining. I recommend reading this series if you're just looking to vibe with a laid back mc.
Additional info. The arts pretty solid in the series. Chapters are overall pretty episodic with some arcs when Al leaves his village to

visit other places. There are a lot of stand out moments that will make you want to read it over and over again. One of the stand out relationships of this series is between the siblings. We have that one sibling who you get along with well and then theirs the older sibling who ends up bossing Al around and constantly getting into conflicts with him but it always turns into an amusing spectacle for all the onlookers.

Here we have an isekai story with game elements revolving around tower or more precisely dungeon defense. The main character gets summoned into a fantasy world by an intelligent dungeon core in the shape of a little girl and is tasked with developing the dungeon or else they will be killed by monsters/humans that invade the dungeons for treasure. The series centers around the main character developing the dungeon, which involves creatively finding ways to exploit the rules of the dungeon system and gathering allies which for all intent and purposes just end up mostly being cute girls, cause yes this is a harem series.
...
I’d say the biggest appeal of the series rests with the dungeon battles. The main characters will occasionally get invaded by adventurers or challenged to a fight by dungeon cores. As a newly established dungeon that is heavily outmatched in terms of resources and experience, the main character constantly has to find creative ways to defeat his opponent, and often in comedic ways at the expense of his enemies. *BEWARE THE GATE OF WISDOM” you’ll get it soon.
Overall it's a decent adaptation from a Light novel that has been going on for a while. I just wish the art was a bit better but it gets the job done. If you catch up with the manga, I’d definitely also recommend giving the Light novel a try.

*Minor Spoiler Warning*
Going through the mountain of new isekai series coming out, this series has been a nice find. This series is one of your protagonist is overpowered as all hell but pretends to be weak kinda story and so far it's done very well. If you are a fan of seeing a main character underestimated just to show how incredible they are in a pinch then this is the series for you. Not gonna lie, they modeled the main character's appearance into stereotypical chuuni which the series itself is fully aware of and plays for comedic effect at times. He has the iconic eyepatch
...
covering a unique colorful eye with special powers, overwhelming dark powers and he's a vampire. I would not be surprised if later on in the series he gets white hair and something happens to one of his arms to become a fully equipped chuuni.
The main character himself has been pretty interesting as he isn’t a carbon copy of the everyman mold isekai protagonist used in isekais so the reader can easily self insert themselves into the story. You don't get flooded with the extreme perversion, overreactions and typical poor judgment calls which is honestly a breath of fresh air. He's an anti hero. He's extremely calm, rarely losing composure. He was summoned to a world to be dissected as a test subject yet barely bats an eye at the fact and took it all in stride. He’s able to amicably talk to a goddess on the first meeting. Has a good head on his shoulders being able to plan ahead and has a glib enough tongue to talk himself out of a troublesome situation.
The gimmick that makes this series “different” from your usual template isekai setting is that the main character was transported to a new fantasy world as soon as he was summoned to one before, gaining a new power and title each time, eventually settling for the current fantasy world he is in being mistake as an ordinary person caught up in a hero summoning. With each summoning giving him a new power, so he starts out with an overwhelming advantage compared to the residents of the fantasy world and other summoned people. Not really groundbreaking stuff here in terms of standing out among the crowd but this is just setup to establish that our main character is gonna be overpowered later on in the series.
It's still pretty early on in the manga and we haven't really gotten to the meat of the story or even established a goal for the main character to achieve but even without it seeing the main character adapt and settle in his new environment is pretty interesting to see.
Art is good which is always a good sign with isekai LN adaptations. The art done by an artist with an art style that I would best describe as conscious misproportioning. The proportions of characters sometimes feel slightly off, mainly in the face but not to a degree that looks bad, which makes the art style easily recognizable. Though sometimes this style doesn't work too well such as some of the cases for the animals drawn in the series. Aside from that the line work is great and the panel layout has been well done as well, as expected from an experienced mangaka.
I have read and reread this series multiple times even though there are barely any chapters out for it. There are plenty of moments in this manga that are just fun or satisfying to read such as the beginning few pages where he’s rapidly being transported to the different isekai worlds or the first time the princess confronts him for his unmotivated behavior and he ends up revealing a bit of his abilities. I have some high expectations for this series as the story has really started to pick up in the recent chapters as big events have finally been put into motion.

They also adapted Kizu in a shoujo style and I gotta say after reading both manga versions of the two stories, I lean towards the shounen one. Maybe cause I read the shounen first but there were some blaring differences when I compared the two. One of the most notable ones was how they were paced. The shoujo adaptions felt like they were two long one shot mangas with all the story content crammed into the pages with a composition that can only be called messy though its something that is repeatedly used in shoujo mangas. The shounen version paced each story within 5
...
chapters so there were more a short series than one quick story.
Another thing was its choice in artstlyes. The shoujo adaption used as seen a common style of drawing for shoujo mangas of the late 90s and early 2000s with extremely deformed facial structures, thin lines, super deformed character designs and heavy reliance on tones. This was a poor choice as both story's strongest elements was the mood it created of the existence of such a supernatural connection between two characters was shown in a normal, and mundane world. The shounen version captured this better with a slightly more realistic art style and darker toning overall. Also the shoujo style of the age was best used in light hearted/fluffy series of the comedy and romance genres that did not require the reader to focus too much on the actual settings or scenarios involved but more on the feelings being conveyed by internal monologues and parting images. They treated the stories more like a fantasy of a heart-beating romance between two individuals which doesn't complement the realistic and psychological nature of these stories.
The story of the two mangas in my opinion were interesting but not extremely so. They let the reader find interest in the situations where two individuals find a bond forming through their connection with a supernatural power but nothing greater ever seems to occur. Giving that both stories are short, there isn't much development into the characters beyond the scope of what the plot desires. In Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai, the girl was able to face her flaws and in Kazu the boy was able to get over his emotional baggage but nothing evolves beyond that. I guess you could call those very significant development in character for them but its not enough for us to really become attached to the characters, mainly due to the fact that both series where too short to give us anything else. The small plot twist in Kimi is also pretty predictable from the beginning as the possibility is directly given to the audience and there are an abundant of hints.
Overall I did enjoy the two series but it will probably become a forgettable read over time as they do not leave much of an emotional impact as Otsu-Ichi's other works GOTH or Shissou Holiday.

Ok where only 3 episodes in but i felt like talking about this anime as im waiting for others to be subbed right now. Anyways Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai is a typical comedy, school life anime that leans toward a harem genre. Its selling point is the theme revolving around chuunibyous as stated by the title. For those who do not know wat chuunibyous are, it literally means "eighth grade syndrom", basically meaning a short period of time when a person is heavily influenced by something (generally anime) and believe they are a mythical existence or have supernatural powers (ex. Kobato Hasegawa
...
of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai). Now for the rundown
Story: NA
Nothing so far as they are only 3 episodes in and i don't want to ruin what happens for those that haven't watched the anime yet.
Art: 8
Good art as clear effort can be seen put into the anime. You won't see heavy recycling of scenes like for those low budget animes. Effects for there action skits are really well done which is surprising for school life anime and a hell of a lot better than the ones seen in some action anime that recently came out... cough cough... Campione.
Sound: 8
Nice BGM that fits well with the atmosphere of the anime. Loving the op and ending, especially the ending as its now one of my favourite anime songs.
Characters: 7
Honestly average character designs in my opinion but there still cute and made memorable by their individual personalities and character traits. But then there's the main character who, i guess following the current trend of main characters in school life, looks pretty dam normal (looks way better and interesting in the flash backs he has). Good voice acting and nice pronunciation of english words(in that japanese way of course) though.
Enjoyment: 8
So far I'm really enjoying the anime so far. It really makes me nostalgic as I had my own chunnibyou period when I was a kid and just writing about it makes me wana bang my head into the wall just to forg...just a minute...
ok back so ya really enjoyable watch for those who want a comical, easygoing, eye pleasing anime to help us with our emotional outbreaks after watching some of the really intense series.
Overall: 8
Really promising so far and i definitely recommend for others to watch.
This is my first review so sorry for the awkwardness if you noticed it. Thanks for reading till the end for those with enough patients to go through my personal thoughts of the anime and for those who thought it was a bunch of nonsense from a guy that has no idea what he is talking about... well anyways have fun watching the anime guys.
