10 Dance

‘Passion’ is a term that could define these two mangas. On one side you have an aloof and playful guy that harbors some rather intense feelings and on the other someone more centered, with their calm demeanor being affected by their partner. Considered rivals in the entertainment industry, might bicker from time to time while still absolutely adoring each other. You can feel the love these characters have for their respective careers and loved one. Most notable difference would be that 10 Dance is a slow burn and Haru wo Daiteita makes them learn more about each other while already being a couple.

Heartless
|
Dark BL mangas that include a well established cult/secret society and their main characters trying to escape from them. Even in such despair they share the same underlying concept of trying to set their loved one free from all the shitty situations they're going through. I would dare say Itou-san is 1% more friendly while Heartless tends to show a good amount of insides flying around, but to be honest the two of them tackle some ruthless topics filled with either bittersweetness or pain. Or both!

Suicide Line
|
Two mangas presenting a police duo, with one of them having some sort of special hability or condition to aid them in solving murder cases. In Suicide Line Kuroda 'sniffes out' corpses while Minami from Stigmata is able to relive the deceased's last moments. Both Ikaga and Kuroiwa —the other side of the duo— are closer to a more classic detective that gives insight via gool old deduction. While both work with some heavy topics, Suicide Line has an even darker tone in general compared to Stigmata's poetic imagery. The later however is more introspective as it tackles Minami's mental struggles with his condition, while SL prefers to put their focus on the police force as a whole.

Miraiken de Ai wo Tsumugeba
|
Same concept of a highschool couple/almost couple who went their separate ways due to some misunderstanding but met once again after years of trying to move on (or not?). Miraiken feels slightly more drama-focused (plus a lot more honesty on their feelings) while Sekaiichi uses comedy to balance it out.
