Story
I think everybody knows about the plot of this series because of all the hype it has received. But does the anime live up to the expectations and the hype? Well, yes. The story is wonderfully written and every character fits just right in this world. The way the villains are introduced and their origins are also great. The only bad thing I can say is that half way the series it kind of drags and at the end a character is introduce and dispose of in a very anticlimactic way. And the ending is in my opinion just plain horrible. But don’t get me ...

Story

It is very hard to compare the anime Le Chevalier D'Eon with anything else out there. I’m not a fan of anime but the story intrigue enough to give it a try and it didn’t disappoint. Like I said before there’s nothing quite like it and if there is then tell me because I’m been looking like mad for something like this. If I could compare this series with something it would be the movies “The tree Musketeers” and “The Man in the Iron Mask”. The plot has some nice twists that aren’t that predictable (although some are) and the ending is also great one ...

A sequel to the TV series, endless waltz is as good as the series. A Great conclusion to what was a great series. The animation is the same as the series and so is the sound and soundtrack. Although the story is not as strong as in the series the character evolution is. It is great to see what all the characters have been up too and what alliance have they taken since the war finished. Lots of confrontation between the main characters and a credible villain make this ova a must see. If you saw the series and haven’t seen this yet, please ...

An awesome story arc from the first episode to the last. The animation still holds to this day but the sound effects do sound a little outdated. Great villains and lots of twists makes this a must see. In some ways it reminds me of Star Wars due to its complicated political backstory, but dont worry the plot its not that complicated. The story is divided in three acts and even in this it does feel a lot like Star Wars (old trilogy). The First Act brings us hope, the second one brings defeat and tragedy and the final brings resolution and redemption. It is ...

The first two episodes of these ova are great. We see Kenshin’s origins and the beginning of the revolution but most important we learn of Kenshins’s tragic past. Animation wise it looks great, the soundtrack is also very good. But my recommendation is to see the series first, this way you will understand who some of these characters are. The last two episodes are the conclusion to the Rurouni Kenshin saga and in my opinion a very good finale for the series. But the thing of these two last episodes is that it feels more like a summary of the whole series than an ...

This was the first anime series that I really got into. Great characters and great stories make this the greatest anime series I’ve seen so far. The only part I didn’t enjoy so much was the last arc because we are at this point so used to see Kenshin as this unbeatable force and here he has difficulty defeating people that look less formidable that his past opponents. But nevertheless the rest of the series is great if not a masterpiece. The animation doesn’t look outdated at all and the soundtrack is in my opinion the best anime soundtrack of all time. ...
