Looking up to you 8/10-(First Half) 6/10-(Second half) (don't ask me how 33 chapters can be split evenly in two.)
First off, I'm going to split the review between the first and second half as I would like to tackle them as two separate entities. (Except the category of art as it doesn't change at all between the two halves.)
First Half- Story 8/10
Nothing groundbreaking it's your average romance manga plot with the super cool girl and the earnest boy.
Honestly despite how cliche the plot is, it's still very enjoyable and some emotions sparked off my flinty
...
heart in their confession.
Second Half - Story 6/10
The plot just kind of nose dives shortly after the two get together, with plot threads being established with no proper payoff.
The main heroine Takamine-san has a mysterious past that I believed was supposed to be tackled or at least dealt with in some satisfying way but fizzles out after a single chapter.
The ending was quite disappointing as well with another "Open-ended" one, which infuriates me to no end.
Overall I think the author had intended this saga to go on for longer as they spent quite a few chapters not doing much if at all to progress either the plot or the characters.
Art 9/10
It's solitary A+ throughout its whole runtime.
Characters- 8/10
The two main leads are incredibly charming and are very enjoyable to read so not much to complain on that front. The side characters I also enjoyed but also understand that they're also pretty flat, with their characters arcs being cut short due to the clumsy handling of the plot's second half.
Enjoyment-9/10 (First half) 7/10 (Second half)
It's first 15-16 chapters were really enjoyable, and I had a blast watching the two leads get together but the same cannot be said for the second half. I was going in with the expectation of fluffy times with some emotional moments to be met halfway on both fronts. It felt far less entertaining as I could feel the author flail before my very eyes with all the very poorly tied up threads and ending.
Overall- 8/10 (First Half) 6/10 (Second half)
I would recommend reading up to the confession then dropping it entirely, the ending won't give you any closure anyways so you're not gonna miss out on anything anyways.

Rascal does not dream of a dreaming girl, 10/10 (Personally) 8.5-9/10 (Objectively)
Well, this may be pretty biased due to me being a massive fan of the anime, but then again I expect most of the viewers to be them as well.
Story 10/10
The story continues off where the anime cuts off and covers the final arc in the series. It's working for its drama tag like it was the costume at a play. I won't go into detail as you would want to be as blind as possible going into this (With the knowledge of what happened in the anime of course)
...
Art 8/10
The art is very beautiful with it being the same style as the anime but with a few more bells and whistles added to it to bring up its quality. The CGI is as jarring as most other animes and some scenes are a bit rough around the edges, warranting this it's 8/10 rating.
Sound 10/10
I'm no expert in this field so I didn't notice anything wrong with the film's sound quality. The music mainly uses instrumental tracks and the end credits uses the same one as the anime, so not much to complain about on this front either.
Character 10/10
The writing is as phenomenal as always with me laughing with every dry wisecrack that comes out of Sakuta's mouth, which helps the story ease its heavy tone even for a few seconds. The girl Makinohara is given the attention she deserves as her arc is up for this movie, and I have to say she did grow on me throughout the movie.
Enjoyment 10/10
I don't want to spoil anything about this movie, and you should watch it after completing the anime of course.

Her Blue Sky, a movie that exists.
Story 5/10
Honestly, as I sat through this movie I only grew more and more bewildered by the plot of this movie, which has nothing really to do with either time travel or the weather. The plot is nonsensical at times leaving you to scream questions at the screen, and by the end of leaves several plot threads left hanging.
Art 6/10
I may have been spoilt by Makoto Shinkai's weathering with you and expected this film to have the same fidelity as that one. The expectation was not met sadly with most of
...
the scenes only being slightly better than most TV anime.
Sound 7/10
It's pretty decent, and is by far the best part of this movie though not really all that praiseworthy either.
Characters 6/10
The characters were a mixed bag, I disliked some I liked others. The MC comes off as overly angsty and edgier than a razor, not entirely unlikeable but I much prefer if she has toned down these traits by at least a little. To loop back to the plot for a second, some of the characters shown in this movie have next to no purpose which makes me wonder if the plot has left them behind.
Enjoyment + Overall 6/10
Overall I can safely say that the film is mediocre and while enjoyable enough to not feel like a waste of time I wouldn't recommend it unless you're really itching for a dose of mediocrity.
TLDR; Movie's plot is meh, characters are a mixed bag, art is ok, sound ain't terrible and is pretty mediocre overall.

Well I am very late to the party, aren't I? First of all my condolences for the death of the author of this series, which means that this story is ending off on a cliffhanger for all of eternity.
The plot and characters of this series were delightful to read, with me binging the 20 chapters of the story in an hour or two. Though I wouldn't recommend anybody to read this series as you will feel rather empty like me when your left grasping for a climax that will never come.
The saddest part was that this manga was in
...
fact really good, and I am grateful to the late author that he at least gave us a glimpse into the world of these characters even if it was cut short.
I don't regret reading this manga though maybe not read it if you don't feel like spending time to ponder about what an ending this series deserved.

This manga is a fluffy story about a rather accident-prone man and his overprotective girlfriend. This story is a slice of life like with each chapter being bite-sized and an excellent read to end the day with.
Story 7/10
There isn't much semblance of an overarching narrative, with each chapter being more or less self-contained.
Art 8/10
While the art can be a little under detailed at parts, I like the art style of the manga and have no qualms with it.
Characters 9/10
The dynamic duo are likable and the supporting cast is charming, they are very enjoyable to read.
...
Enjoyment 9/10
I had a blast with each chapter of this manga, and would wholeheartedly recommend it.
Overall 8/10
It is a delightful manga to read, and its light story makes it easy to jump into.

I have this in theatres twice now, while I wouldn't say I enjoyed this as much as your name, It is a very solid follow up to it, with its strong characters and fantastic story.
Story 9/10
Without going into spoilers, the plot of weathering with you is much more easy to follow than your name's.
Art 10/10
The art is breathtaking, with me being enraptured even on second viewing. The scenes with the rain clearing are especially beautiful.
Music 8/10
I loved the soundtrack of weathering with you but it is unfortunately not as impactful as your name's one.
...
Characters 10/10
The characters are likable with believable motives and distinct personalities. The main duo also has great chemistry making every scene with the two of them being very enjoyable.
Enjoyment 9/10
I loved the movie and is considering going back for thirds.
Overall 9/10
Make sure to check it out when you're able to, and is by no means an unworthy successor to your name.
Extra bits I have no idea where to fit in.
The manga differs from the movie, so both are worth checking out.
*Mild spoilers* so tuck oysters into your eyes if you don't want to read it
Tad bit miffed that the main duo don't share a kiss, there were so many moments that would fit it too...
