Note: This anime may not be for everyone. It is understandable. If you prefer sadistic and masochistic plot or just want to relaxation and watch a plot for entertainment without caring about toxicity then it is for you.
This anime is definitely different because many romance anime are more wholesome. This one is unique in its own way, and this is not the only anime to portrayed these types of toxicity in a relationship. Anyway, we have both a sadistic and masochistic characters in a relationship. There are moments where audiences are upset with while there is moment where it is wholesome in a way.
...
In the beginning, it is difficult to watch because of one of the characters get treat horribly. There is a reason for this negative behavior. Almost drop this anime to be honest but decided to stay to see if it gets any better. Throughout the anime, some episode moments are better than the others. I managed to finished it. Overall, did not actually hate it, I find it enjoyable. Even if the relationship is not as nice, there are still some fun and enjoyable moments. This couple does have their own slight character development later on. I recommend this anime for people who are open-minded about this plot and can separate this fictional story from reality. Enjoyable if you are open-minded and just be entertained with it. Also, many people suggests to read the manga because it gets better there. If you enjoy this anime or want to be engage with this, you should read the manga too.

Vanguard Will Dress is an interesting to watch, especially for anyone who enjoys playing the game. Also, not only is it interesting, it is enjoyable. There are many backlash for its first season for having less focused on the cardfight itself, but for Will Dress, it is definitely more focused. Whoever have not watch the Overdress series yet because of less cardfights are recommended to watch the first season of Will Dress moving forward to this second season. For the game itself, there are no units appearing animations similar to the original anime but it only shows the characters only playing. To clarify, it is
...
like watching a real life players playing Vanguard where there are no units appearing every time it is added to the field. This new method is not bad either because it is faster and less boring to watch. However, most of the episodes do animate the units battling near the end of the game which is a nice addition. Overall, a decent and improved anime for newcomers and long time fans to stream on. Tip: Head over to Cardfight Vanguard YouTube channel to stream for FREE!

Alright, Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode. It’s a sequel or we can say spinoff but a sequel would be better. At first, I was a little hype to see a continuation of Tokyo Mew Mew after finishing watching the anime and found out there is a new character in the manga. Didn’t think too much about that new character in the cover until I’ve started reading. The focus for the main lead is gone and is focused on a new girl character. As I’ve continued reading, I’ve started to noticed that the plot is basically a repeat of Tokyo Mew Mew with the focus
...
on new character as I’ve mentioned earlier with some of the previous Mew Mew characters that still shows up and does not have any growth developments or any focuses on them specifically. Had to drop this manga and came back later on to finished it again. After finishing, the disappointing aspects are the villains since they really didn’t do anything that threatening especially at the end where they suddenly face defeat and that is it. Also, apparently, the new character is supposed to be cast as a new leader rather than having the one of former characters be one for the sake of the story. Overall, the manga is quite lacking in storytelling but the art-style is consistently decently drawn and the reason for this lack to occur is the fact that one of the writers who did Tokyo Mew Mew named Reiko Yoshida was not in this project. Mia Ikumi, an illustrator artist, took the initiative to do all of the writing and the drawing which her specialty is indeed the drawing.

This new reboot is an enjoyment, I guess. It’s not a bad reboot but not a high standard one. First off, it does NOT fully adapt the entire manga closely since they’ve added new twists/ changes but still incorporated some scenes from the manga into this anime. The anime studios are from Yumeta Company and Graphinica so both studios would likely try to change things up but still keeping the message of the story. Personally, it fine to make some new changes to expand the story but if the manga versions are already decent in storytelling, they should try to make a close follow up
...
while adding some small new idea changes. Also, it feels rather rushed a little because they had to skipped some scenes from the manga due to the time limit for each episode which is caused by adding many new fillers to expand the story when they could’ve faithfully follow the manga more closely. It seems like there will be 12 episodes which does not seem to be enough unless there will be a second season along the way. Now, for the art-style, it’s a rather hit or miss since in some scenes of the anime, the drawing looks decent while others will look a little wonky or bad. The animations looks decent enough, especially the battle scenes which does have physical combat in some episodes. I’d give them credit for trying to make the art-style look similar to the original anime and the BGM is similar to Sailor Moon Crystal remake. Back to the new changes, I’d say some are fine while some changes are not that great. One disappointing changes for me is from a nice car to a big truck and Mew Mint does have a new role in this new reboot. In my opinion, the second episode seems a bit better since it a little more close to the manga but with some new idea changes, some scenes were cut here and there such as one of the characters fear in the manga/ original anime. Overall, I recommend to new people without any nostalgic bias to watch this reboot anime first before the original anime and read the manga volumes afterwards for better entertainment including the older fans for the nostalgic purposes. However, if not then the original anime and the manga volumes are a highly recommend for you to grab on.

This movie took me for a surprise. What do I mean? It’s the fight scenes! The fight scenes are up for the top in the movie that we’ve been missing for a couple of years already, especially the fall movie of Star Twinkle Precure which does not have tons of combat. This movie make up for the lack of it which is good. As I’ve watched this movie, I’ve noticed that it resembles more of previous generation Precure movies such as the charm of Precure has returns for some reasons. It’s probably the impact and more of violence being added in the movie which is
...
missing with the more fun and lighthearted themes. This movie has collaborated with another Past Precure season which is shown in the movie cover and I’d say, they incorporated them in the fights well. They did lose some screen time and we didn’t get to see them interact with the current team after the battle which is a little disappointing but not too bad considering we’s already seen them join in the fights here and there. There is a theme message in the movie. Moreover, TOEI went all out of this movie and the fact that they brought back choking is already something. This movie is for people that likes the older Precure movies that contains a bit more violence and more hand to hand combat scenes. The plot of the story is a bit simple but it was meant for children in Japan to watch so bare with it and enjoy the overall story, fight scenes, and the ride.

This movie is actually average with flaws. It may be boring at times for some people but it’s more of a lighthearted movie with emotional situation that occurs afterwards. The art-style is a little bad in this movie and the animations are okay. For the fight scenes, there are fight scenes but it’s not as intense as the previous Healin Good movie crossover with Yes 5 Gogo. Although, the animation for the fights are better than the overall series. I was hoping we get another level of Healin good movie fighting scenes only to be let down with a little shorter hand to hand combat
...
fights. It also have a crossover with a past Precure team which is interesting and it seems to focused on them a lot more this time around. For me, it was okay but it wasn’t in the high stand point to the previous Precure fall movie.

This anime is not bad and the time for each episodes are quite short. The story is about two teenagers that are in a relationship which one is considered as a “tsundere” and another is cute yet tries to resist that people would usually called it as being a masochist. It’s a comedy and slice of life series. I actually dislike how the anime studio does not actually adapt the anime faithfully to the entire manga version which I’d preferred them to do. Other modern companies would faithfully follow the manga for the anime while Yumeta Company and Graphinica tries to change things up which
...
is similar to the older days such as the 90s era. It’s not that bad but if the manga version is decent, it doesn’t need to be change too much unless they need to incorporate more new ideas/ details to expand the story or it needs to be improved through new changes. Overall, as the genre being displayed, whoever likes romance, slice of life, comedy, and does not care much about tsundere/ masochist-like relationship then this is anime for you to check out.

The new sequel series is rather okay and that’s it basically. It has some nostalgia which is not bad, especially the modern art-style have some similarities to 90s art-style version. Although, I believe it’s time for the studio to do a remake or a reboot of the anime altogether with the nostalgic art-style rather than the nostalgic episodes. Now, the anime is a little boring to some people and it does not bring back the feels from the previous seasons. The action-packed for several episodes have been reduced or is a little short and the colors are more lighter pastel that are mostly seen in
...
the romance or slice of life anime. The light or bright colors felt strange since the previous uses darker colors and have many exciting actions. The main protagonist is collecting many cards once again which is basically similar to the beginning. This show would be great for shippers that prefer romance and slice of life. If not, it’s not for you unless it’s for nostalgic reasons. To recap, I do preferred a remake of Cardcaptor Sakura faithfully following the entire manga version for older teens/ adults without skipping any details, with more action-pack/ strategies, still use the 90s art-style, and using more darker colors rather than the light pastel colors, etc.

First off, I would like to say that many people are hyping this season which did not live up to my expectations while watching it. I actually do like the Precure designs. To start, for me, it’s somewhat of a boring season due to the more of lighthearted tone and not a serious one. I know that this is supposed to be a fun season for a pandemic but it wasn’t that interesting. The villains of this season are not that threatening. However, I do think that the first 5 episodes were decent and the fight scenes were done alright and the rest are either
...
boring episodes and perhaps, short or even no fight scenes at all. There is one later episode that has some nice animation fight scenes but the art-style suffer a little. The final battle is questionable since the fight scene animation scene is decent but the overall combat scene were fairly short. Also, the later half of the story took for a downfall. This season wasn’t really constructed that well or actually prepared for a decent storytelling near the end. Although, near the end of the series, the other main characters does get their own final development arc which is done decently. Wish they get more developments throughout the series, though. Many people noticed that the spotlight or well developed has been shine upon one of the characters which is definitely true. Overall, it’s not a really great season for me at least but the older seasons such as Smile Precure is recommended. However, feel free to this show to see if it fits your taste. Also, apparently this season did not do well in terms of Japan toy selling rating for some reasons which are either the pandemic or many people in Japan were having similar issues with this season.

Update: This new season that currently is airing is fine until the second half of the series. So far, the story is constructed a little better than the previous series such as Tropical Rouge Precure in my opinion but not anymore seeing how the story does not really progressed a lot. Basically, the story becomes a slice of life of cute girls hanging out together with foods only. I think there are some flaws here and there such as the poorly written execution in the story after a mid-season cure has appeared. As you can see, there is a boy character in the cover that
...
seems to remind some people of Tuxedo Mask which is not entirely wrong. This show somewhat has a little romance situation but don’t expect anything major such as the main lead and a mysterious guy falling in love with each other. If you’ve watched Happiness Charge Precure, the situation is similar to Seiji and Megumi where the protagonist is dense while the guy has a crush on the girl that will likely end up going on forever without confessing. What I dislike about this show is definitely the fight scenes. Some people know that Precure have fight scenes that resembles Dragon Ball a.k.a “hand to hand combat” or “physical combat scenes”. This show does brought it back; however, in recent episodes, the characters barely did anything special for the fight scenes. It’s becoming like Sailor Moon where the Precure relies mostly on their stock animation attacks which are being reused over and over again. There are some decent physical combat in the first couple of episodes while the others are quite disappointing due to it being short or relies too much with magic fights. The art-style does improved from the previous series.
