Ok, I really do not know how to feel about this. I know one thing though Babylon is good. It's not the "perfectly balanced" good though. Its a mega lopsided good that's carried HARD by its first seven episodes.

The sound and art is good--alrighty that is covered. The direction specifically for the first 7 episodes is fantastic. So lets start with the real pros. If you can not tell already, the real pros are everything with the first seven episodes. I will be honest when I say that I thought Babylon was on the verge of being one of my frontrunners for AOTY and AOTS ...

Shirobako (Anime) add
Shirobako is a show that I wanted to watch for a long time, but I never got the push into doing so. Winter 2020's Eizoken and the 2020 MAL Challenge finally steered me towards watching this great show. Shirobako follows the eccentric Miyamori Aoi and her trials and tribulations of being a part of the production staff for an anime company. We also periodically follow the other members of her old high school club throughout the show too. (That sentence sounds like a denounce them as side characters, but they are important for the greatness of Shirobako)

I won't be reviewing the sound and art, but ...

Here we have a "horror" movie that was not really a horror movie. It was more like Highschool of the Dead: Survival Island with big bugs instead of zombies.

Story: 3
The story was pretty straightforward and have been at most a 5, but absolutely nothing happened and there was not a decisive ending. A problem was introduced, and there were no hints whatsoever that a solution was close in reach. So, if you are looking for a movie with an exposition, climax, and resolution, then this is defiantly not it.

Art: 2
Everything about the art for this movie was dreadful. The horror aspect, the big bugs, looked ...
