...then you might like Natsume Yuujinchou add

Both series are shojo, with a focus on interpersonal relationships, trauma and supernatural creatures. What I find to be most similar, but not exactly the same are the dynamics between between Natsume and the Matoba clan, and then Tohru and the more traditionalist Sohma clan. Fair warning that in order to understand what I mean, you have to get pretty far into Natsume Yuujinchou (around volume's 19-20) for the 'ah ha' moment.

My recommendation purely comes from the relationship aspects of the series. I couldn't help when watching Ooku realize that Tokugawa Iemitsu's relationship(s) with her concubines, was very similar to that of Akito and the Zodiac. Of particular interest would be Akito/Iemitsu parallels with Shigure/Arikoto.

...then you might like Hypersonic Music Club add

The opening sequence of the barren landscape in HMC immediately reminded me of Listeners' setting. Both series also have a major focus on music, and mecha with highly stylized characters.

If you liked Hidamari ga Kikoeru add

...then you might like Yubisaki to Renren add

Both series have a protagonist who is deaf/hearing impaired, with a partner who has no hearing issues. The series focuses on the difficulties not only in communicating between the two partners, but also developing their relationship due to very real and literal miscommunications. They're slow burn, but very realistic and honest in their character and plot developments.

If you liked Princess Nine: Kisaragi Joshikou Yakyuubu add

...then you might like Ookiku Furikabutte add

Both series are rather light and airy in their approach to baseball in comparison to other series. Both are rather fluffy and sweet. I probably wouldn't say they're for the 'serious' sport's anime fans.

If you liked Toraware no Minoue add

...then you might like Chou yo Hana yo add

Both are shoujo manga (ironically licensed by the same American distributor), both deal with master servant relationships developing into romantic relationships. "Chou yo hana yo" being the more serious and realistic side, "Toraware no Minoue" being more on the fantasy side.

If you liked Toraware no Minoue add

...then you might like Kuroshitsuji add

"Toraware no Minoue" and "Kuroshitsuji" have a master servant relationship, and a "lost" heir as their main ties. Although they are two separate genres they have a lot of similarities, they're both enjoyable without directly comparing one another.

If you liked Tenshi no Kiss add

...then you might like Princess Tutu add

Both series deal with ballet, and overlap in that respect. "Tenshi no Kiss" is more mature in art and themes, while "Princess Tutu" is much more youthful in art and how their themes are displayed.

If you liked Manga Mitai na Koi Shitai! add

...then you might like Bakuman. add

"Manga Mitai na Koi Shitai" and "Bakuman" actually deal with the main characters being manga artists. Both main artists draw from real life inspirations, although both the genres they write and what they are, are shonen and shoujo respectively. It's really refreshing to see both sides of the female and male manga artists.

If you liked Slam Dunk add

...then you might like Kuroko no Basket add

Both "Kuroko no Basket" and "Slam Dunk" have the same theme of basketball. However "Slam Dunk" is a more realistic on the genre over the "super powers" that the "Kuroko no Basuke" characters get. They're both fantastic series to read and classics in the genre.

If you liked Beniiro Hero add

...then you might like Haikyuu!! add

Both "Haikyuu!!" and "Beniiro Hero" deal with teenagers playing volleyball. Nobara and Hinata, our protagonists are both rather hard headed and determined. Of course, "Haikyuu!!" and "Beniiro Hero" are shonen and shoujo respectively, but overall overlap very well.

If you liked Haikyuu!! add

...then you might like All Out!! add

Both focus on the struggles of a rather short, and at the beginning of the series; only one skill set to use. Gion and Hinata seem to be exactly the same, just in different sports. The series' also overlap in the themes of teamwork, friendship, overcoming disadvantages,etc. Both are really positive in their portrayals as well.
