I'm not going to write a full scale review but essentially, this is a decent start to a story which never gets told. A motley crew of misfits who are all deemed useless have to work together to evade being caught by other useless being at the behest of bored gods, and it looks like they'll start finding ways in which they can become useful and find their strengths throughout the series.
Unfortunately, that doesn't happen.
With the series ending after just 2 volumes you're left with too many questions left unanswered and left wholly unsatisfied. I'm giving it a 6 because I genuinely enjoyed what I

read, but was incredibly tempted to give it just a 4 or lower because of the sour taste left behind by the knowledge that it's so pointlessly brief and spends all this time building a genuinely interesting setting only to abandon it before it gets a chance to really get going. If you're fine with short series like this which just feel like a showcase of what the writer can do, then you'll probably enjoy it. If you want a fully fleshed out series then don't bother, you won't get one. The only thing you can hope for is that Masato Hisa and KRSG one day find the motivation to revive the series.
