Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 turning into an empty anime time for me, still, I manage to watch some in in BATCH, which I not really prefer for now days anime. I watched Tate no Yuusha and Goblin Slayer with a low expectation but it turn out quite great(a reverse to their previous season). And this anime trailer show up, people go on like crazy about it, like "The first after-journey blah blah blah thing" and I be like "Oh, another will be overhype anime huh..." and I close my interest to watch this and only lock You-Zitsu and Tomozaki in my plan to watch. ... I spent those waiting time rewatching some old anime, and boom..., this series show up as 1st place top anime, I am be like "Is this a work of overhype new comer watcher again? or is it really that good?" and my brother manage to persuade me to watch it. So we jump to current time where I just finish this series a couple minutes or hours ago, and tell you all my what my heart feel about this series which I quite doubt its "Greatness".

The story kinda mid, or is it? Its like it doesn't even know where it belong to. What I mean is whatever they want it to be a complex story or just laid-back one. It started by taking us with after war thing world, it told us how the character feel about those days, how the people live currently, and suddenly, the remnant from the war still exist and start telling about how the magic battle work. I expect a chill story while holding a bowl of warm noodle here and you want me to suddenly get focus to how the magic work? oh, it just SEED Gundam type of battle, a magic-missile spam. oh, the bad guy is about to finish in this last attack..., boom, a flashback. so, by what I mean here is, this series is not sure about how its story wanna be like.

For the animation, what a bless, I had no complaint.

The characters are your typical RPG role up, they had their own flaws and strength(but again, is this really necessary in a what people called a chill anime?), which I quite fond up. Except our MC..., yeah, she is OP. But here come what disturb me. excluding the battle at the last part of the series, where is everyone? there is a big missile spam happen in a peaceful world happen, no one want to check out? even the "police" there? and the one who fought, all of them quite calm even though they all in a battle to death situation. oh, is this what people called chill anime? even some mecha anime had emotion inserted in the battle. It is like all the characters were robot that had no emotion, but installed with a slight comedy stuff on them?

To summary anything I said above, this is a series which only there to be watched, you don't need to get linked to it by anyway you can think of and can be forgotten in a couple of season later. It is still overhype, but you can still watch it, hear me? I not saying you can enjoy it. I not gonna recommend this to anyone in the future, and if anyone tell me about this again later, I will be like "Oh, there is that show huh?"

Witch from mercury, our first female MC Gundam pilot that seems bring a new wind to this franchise. but not. It just a mix up concept from the previous series just like SEED series. Just like "Blue Destiny" you need a "Ghost" to ride the Gundam safely, "Data Storm" is just another "Newtype" things. And this makes me Yawn multiple times in every episode from the middle of S1 until S2 end, and I doing shit like "This is just another newtype ghost shit" and "Oh here come Solar Ray wannabe" during the watch. So Yeah, nothing new here except the chara, relationship, and MS ... itself.

Now into the Art Style, for people who already know about Gundam franchise we know Gundam is about a dark war time theme or something like that. but for this one, I barely feel that thing except from the end of S1. and with that I think the art style really matching the vibes that this show gives.

for the chara, I barely have any personnal connection with any chara from this show. Our MC at first is kinda like Mikazuki August, only listen to her mom or Mio. then he do shit at the end of S1 and I be like "S2 is gonna be better!". but not. She turn into Kira Yamato or Banagher Links, "I'll not kill you so listen to me mothershit!" what a turn down.

Will people enjoy this show then? well, for a newcomer is just about how great the animation and art syle are. So I think they will enjoy this one. As for the one for desire the war terror or horror, nah this show is just a waste of time. as for me, I'll never recommened this, rather I'll not call this "Gundam", just Witch from mercury. As my recommendation for a newcomer that got interest in Gundam franchise, I'll tell them to watch IRON BLOODED ORPHAN instead.

So my conclucion for this show is, THIS IS JUST ANOTHER BANDAI WAY TO SELL MORE GUNPLA just like SEED

Not gonna lie, the title sound suspiciously ecchi and thats the reason I read it. the story kinda makes me emotinal and thats good. from the title people already guess what kind of relationship in the manga gonna be. I'm trying not to spoil anything here...

The main story idea is just like Koi wa Ameagari You ni(Love is Like after the Rain) and Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui(It's Too sick to Call This Love), the struggle about this kind of relation is pretty well describe and like I said above I like the story...

The Art..., oh boy. Its kinda misleading. at first glance, ... if someone told me this is an ecchi manga I'm gonna believe them without doubt. but its not ecchi. Oh and the art in Omakase is pretty good...

People who enjoy the two titles I mention above probably gonna like this too...
