Story: 7/10
In terms of the story, it has been able to give an overview of the conflict in the story until the ending, there is also fan service added to it. Maybe because the MC and the hero are still in high school, their thoughts are still naive about the world so they still follow hero ideology like normal shonen anime. For an adult audience like me, it might be too boring for a storyline like this, and in terms of branches, this film gets an R-13 at the theater where I am.

The animation that is made is really good, the color is ... striking and bright from studio A-1 Picture, the quality is unquestionable. But the action animation is still lacking, and there are only picture frames, there are no fights using CGI. The first film is still more dominant than this one.

Music 8/10
Background music is still standard for me, and doesn't impress much. As usual, the battle scenes with the background music are good, the bass effect is still the same as the previous series. Argo's VA is what makes me crazy, with Nanachi's distinctive voice (Made in Abyss) makes my head ring (LOL)

Story: 8/10
The story is mostly taken to drama, for comedy it feels lacking. If you read the Light Novel, you will see a comedy scene where Myne's selfishness is shown, in the anime, he becomes a logical character.
The sad scenes are still lacking, and feel condensed, unlike in the novels, which are more pronounced. Even so, for those who have not read the novel, they can still feel the sadness of the story, but for me this is very lacking because they already know the story, and just want to enjoy the animation.

It's good, it's just that the coloring is too contrasting, sometimes it ... hurts the eyes because the coloring of the hair is too bright. But the coloring in the background of the image is very neat, and close to the previous prequel. Even though some of the images are broken, and the depiction of faces is not clear, you can still enjoy this type of image. The fight scene is still stiff, so I can't enjoy the story, hopefully this fight scene can be made more epic and tense with a better depiction

The voice actors are good, and they are played according to the story and the scene. The backsound is a bit lacking, especially in epic and tense scenes, you need a voice to support the story.

The character development is good, but that's only for people who watch the anime. If you read the novel, you will know that our main character is selfish, and quite workaholic. therefore, the comedy story in this anime is less and focuses on drama. His daily life is also lacking because many stories are cut, including the cuteness in the story of making products at the gutenberk workshop

So far, I can only enjoy the drama, not the comedy in the anime. For drama connoisseurs, maybe you can enjoy this anime, but because I have read the novel, the feeling of watching is less and there is not too much hope for the anime.

Actually, I've read the Light Novel legally on online platforms up to a certain volume, so I want to see the animated story, for some reason the feeling is lacking, and in this season the focus is on drama, so there aren't many scenes that make me happy watching it. As for the drama, it can be found, even though it's sad to leave his family, but the scene is still lacking than the novel.

I watched this anime while looking for the romance drama genre, and after finishing this anime, I can consider it as one of my favorite anime in the romance and drama category, comparable to fruit basket and clannad

The story itself is light, and not too much drama conflict. It is told that a 12 year old boy has a promise with his childhood friend who was separated from the orphanage to fight for his dream. And when his dream has come true, their love can move on to the next stage.

MC named Mitsuki had a dream to become a singer and at that time he ... had cancer in his throat which required surgery at the risk of losing his voice. This can hinder her dream of becoming a singer if her voice is lost

Immediately, a shinigami (angel of death) appears to take the life of the MC in the next 1 year. Knowing the MC has a year left to live, he immediately fulfills his dream of becoming a singer and auditions, and soon his childhood friends get to know him and their love will blossom.

From here the story begins. From the beginning of the debut to the end, which is seasoned with slice of life stories, comedy, and very good music.

Don't forget there is also a sad drama with scenes that make the audience sad, including the final plot where his dream is in sight but finally that hope is gone.

In terms of drawing, it's very good, even though this anime was made in 2002, it can still make amazing pictures at that time. I think this picture is getting more and more amazing as the number of episodes goes on. Although now only available 480p, and no HD version. I think this is good enough and there is no need for the anime to be remade, and it is enough for the story to end here. There is no need to add another sequel that could spoil this good ending. Even though I have a little hope that there will be a side story, or a movie sequel that tells the story of the next life.

In terms of animation, it's pretty good too, although there are some CGI images that are made stiff, but it's still pretty good, especially in 2002. And the more episodes, the smoother the animation moves.

Every soundtrack song that is made here, comes from the MC seiyuu (voice actor) directly, and the songs that are played in terms of the story. Every scene, story, and drama fits the music of this anime, it really fits the music, it can make my heart ache hehehe.....
