TL;DR: If you like worldbuilding then this is for you but you have to look past chapter 1.
This anime is not bad but at the same time it's not that good.
The first chapter is super bad and boring but if you can look past that then you are awarded with an above average anime.
I personally liked the entire thing minus the first and last chapters that were boring af.
The world-building is surprisingly well done and it's the best aspect of the anime, if it wasn't for it i would have dropped the anime, the problem is that the rest is so boring in comparison that

Gooner/ fast food anime.
Basically, if you are less than 13 or want to see little girls in sexual suggesting positions this anime is for you. The characters at the start are somewhat interesting but in the end of the season it's just all an excuse to make the sister of the protagonist be in suggesting situations. Anyways this anime had so much potential because the setting is interesting and the games played are somewhat interesting too but it's just too ecchi for me, if i had watched this when I was 11 maybe I would have thought it was better but now that I'm older watching this ...

It's just a silly short manga about teenagers doing teenagers things.
The principal relationship does progress but only a little and the male protagonist is just a little too dumb and but at the end he gets a little less annoying. This manga is for you if you only want a light thing to read and not pay a lot of attention, in total I think it's less than 2 or 3 hours of reading. And the main couple progresses fast at the start so the annoying period of romantic manga where they don't confess even though they know their feelings isn't here. I don't consider this a must ...

I'm writing this review after catching up with the manga, so it's pretty fresh in my mind, and I can say with confidence that this is a good manga. But should you read it?
First of all, it's a historical shonen, but the historical part doesn't influence the story much, so that can be disregarded. This manga does one thing very well: it creates hype moments and makes you care about the conflicts of the characters. So, if you liked Bleach, Naruto, especially One Piece, or other long shonen manga, this is for you. If you like short stories, then this isn't for you at all. It has ... |
