this recommendation also concerns To-LOVE-Ru since Darkness is the sequel to it Both manga have exactly the same atmosphere : a guy in love with a childhood friend who also loves him but neither of the two is aware of the feelings they have one for the other and a special girl suddenly barges in the life of the guy and due to circumstances, they have to stick together basically, it is the same manga, every female lead in Nisekoi has her equivalent in To LOVE-Ru, the only exception is that To LOVE-Ru is more focused on the ecchi/comedy part, while Nisekoi emphasizes more on the romance/comedy part.

Both anime gave me the feeling "wtf did I just watch? that looks totally awesome even if i don't understand a damn thing!" I find that the atmosphere in the anime is pretty similar, with protagonist barging in an unknown place just to bust things left and right Also, Koto and Ryuko look like each other a lot in the way they do things, but their motives is completely different
