+ : The girl is perfectly unsettling, and the plot will probably not go the way you think it will at first.

The story's decent, so is the art.

The MC is the biggest weakness, but we're used to these useless wimps by now. At least this one finds his spine from time to time.

He will never really decide on anything, always going with the flow - but whatever. More room for him to get trapped in the yandere's web, so it's not as bad as yandere-less manga.

This perfectly scratched my itch.

It's unhinged comedy, my favorite.

Very funny. Absolutely hilarious Got me laughing out loud constantly.

It's obviously garbage if you somehow could not tell by yourself, there won't be any deep worldbuilding lol.

But it's fun garbage and worth reading if you have time to kill. I also believe the 2 oct 2023 rating 2 is too harsh. I almost didn't read it because of him, so I put it off for a week or so, but fate made me read it and I can attest it's not THAT bad, lol. Seriously, give it a shot, ... you won't regret it.

Nothing I say is a spoiler because I'm only explaining how uninteresting this is. There is no elements of surprise. The pressure to keep your interest is all on the FMC, and I will not be spoiling her situation.

I was already hating it, but chapter 7 convinced me. I can't go on. This means I can't read more, because I'll jump off a cliff.

This is so bad. What is wrong with the people who enjoy seeing someone either doing nothing, or more likely, acting like a coward -and subsequently getting rewarded with a loving girlfriend ?

The guy has 0 personality. We're supposed to be ... blowing him because he didn't let his neighbor have water for dinner in chapter 1.
I'm not exaggerating, btw. Apparently this is an amazing feat in Japan.

But what brought me to the edge is chapter 7. Of course we get the lame, trash trope "couple discount" at cat cafe. The girl says yes while at the same time the guy says no. Then he caves under pressure and says "ok we are a couple". They enter the cafe. Then he keeps saying to the shopkeeper "we ain't like that tho" while the shopkeeper is all "i don't care. stop talking. be nicer to her". Then the seller offers to take a picture of them petting cats and THE MC SAYS NO !
There's a limit to how worthless you can make your characters and we have reached it.

It would be bearable if the guy had intense trauma or whatever, but again, he has no personality. His "background" doesn't make sense, either. He doesn't know anything because his loving family didn't teach him anything. Why ? No reason. In fact, he asks to live alone, so his parents buy him an apartment. There, he struggles because he doesn't know anything. So what happens ? His family teaches him how to do things, like using a washing machine. Why didn't they do so before ? Because this manga is trying to see how stupid you, the reader, can be.

Thinking about it, his male friend is also boring and useless. Nothing would change if he didn't exist.

The girl is alright, I guess. She's boring but she has a reason for that. The issue is that when one character is boring and cowardly you're supposed to pair them with someone interesting. But the author couldn't write an interesting character or plot point if I put a gun to his head.


I beg you, do not waste your time on this.

I almost got put off reading this isekai because 1) it's isekai and 2) the guy giving it a bad review was really, really mad. But I did read it, and not only is it good, the guy complaining and rating 1 because his favorite character died is simply a dumbass. He should be happy that the work made him feel things ! But oh well, you'll always have idiots everywhere, the kind that purposefully go see a comedy show only to later trash it because he laughed at the jokes, the kind that send death threats to villain actors, etc. You get the gist.

After ... giving it a shot, I can confirm the guy writing a bad review is out of his mind. Please do not take anything he says seriously. In fact, don't read his spoiler review, just read the story. Well, you probably want to know when to come back at the reviews so you can see for yourself how demented he is. To this I say : You'll know when. Come when your heart is hurt.

The art is decent, the story is original, I understand the intent of the translation 95% of the time, and the manga really plays with your feelings. I've read all available chapters and I'm thinking of reading the light novel because it's so interesting and I don't want to wait.
