If I had to describe Ping Pong the Animation in one word, it would be "sincere". It's a show without the pretence of presenting itself in the extremes of anything in the spectrum of positive and negative. Rather, it's more like an extract of several people's lives practicing the sport ping pong. While this sounds incredibly dull, there's no way I meant that as critique to the show. No sweat, add some moe into it and you'll be fine, other aspects like animation, editing and timing could easily be ignored. Please be aware that I'm not against moe (since Kannagi contains a certain amount of it aswell), I just despise how a lot of viewers do not care about seemingly "unimportant" aspects. Just entertainment will suffice. What does that conclude? The average viewer gives a score based on ...

Je T'aime (Anime) add
Note: Forgive me if I miss some parts or forgot to mention something. I saw it on premiere in an animation festival, so I can't rewatch it.

Je t'aime is a fairly enjoyable short, but don't expect groundbreaking story mechanics of any sorts.

The concept is relatively simple. Situated in a ghost town, there resides a dog that's aching for contact with another living entitiy. This is very obvious: the dog roams the streets without other living soul, and just wanders around with no purpose. These particular scenes would also show off how refined the backgrounds are.

What I love about this movie is the stark contrast between ...
