Deadman Wonderland is a dark and thrilling anime that hooks you with its unique premise: a privatized prison disguised as a twisted amusement park. While I thoroughly enjoyed the intense action, emotional depth, and intriguing mystery, my overall rating is lower due to the disappointment of its unfinished state. Deadman Wonderland is a great anime that could have been exceptional, but its abrupt ending leaves it feeling like a wasted opportunity.

Girls & Panzer is one of those anime that’s just plain fun, even if it’s a little ridiculous. It’s about this girl, Miho Nishizumi, who’s trying to escape her family’s obsession with tank combat, but ends up getting roped into her school’s tank team anyway. Yeah, you heard that right—tank combat as a school sport. It’s wild, but it works.

The show’s got these awesome tank battles that are way more intense and strategic than you’d expect, and the characters are a mix of quirky and endearing. Sure, it’s not deep or groundbreaking, but it doesn’t try to be. It’s just a good time, with a ... balance of action, humor, and a touch of heart. If you’re into weird, creative concepts and don’t mind some over-the-top moments.

Gate is a mixed bag of fantasy and military action. When a mysterious portal opens in Tokyo, medieval warriors and monsters invade, only to be crushed by the modern Japanese Self-Defense Force. The JSDF then ventures through the gate into a fantasy world filled with empires, dragons, and magic. The protagonist, Youji Itami, an otaku soldier, leads the charge while balancing diplomacy, combat, and his love for all things nerdy.

While the premise is intriguing and the action scenes are entertaining, the story often feels uneven. It leans heavily into JSDF propaganda, and the characters, while likable, lack depth. The fantasy world is underdeveloped, and the ... plot sometimes meanders between serious political drama and lighthearted fan service. It’s fun but flawed.

Ngl shits funny in a very surprising way. Definitely the story of any isekai ever but still in a way refreshing cause the good guy is good but in his own backwards way. I also feel slightly emotional about the love scenes towards the end they actually feel real and genuine for a very not down to earth anime. Something to watch when ur kinda burnt out of playing video games something you haft pay attention to but still really enjoy.

the almost at times subtle shade throw at he main character are surprisingly fun, considering the usual isekai the main character can do absolutely ... no wrong. This they constantly point out how shitty a job he's doing. When in reality he's just trying to stay on course and really just blend in. Personally definitely made my stoned ass laugh to hear that robot shit talk.

Like i said before this anime got surprisingly emotional towards the end. In the sudo un-realistic world this who so set on a predetermined fate doesn't see his own potential not only in status but also the loss of possibilities. Which frankly as someone who is now facing the reality of growing up the feeling of taking the easy route and just kinda coasting is very tempting. But when we realise our own potentials and open up to the outside world we open the door to so much more emotionally.

I can't lie i've been playing ncaa 25 and Tcg card shop sim like crazy lately cause i've been sick and cause listening to the same songs over and over get annoying i through anime on my second monitor. Lot of just mindless op character does no wrong gets girl type stuff and this kinda breaks that gimmick and i really appreciated that.

Honestly a little over hated but they aren't necessarily wrong. It goes from a badass revenge story to a weird love story with bad pacing. I do like that the creators used some gore and language then at times they go way to ham everything positive has a negative. The one thing that sets it apart is it has a full story a little rough around the edges and kinda pasted together but a story. All and all very mid tier anime nothing special but at the same time if you've got nothing else to watch throw this on a second monitor and play a ... game.
