I'm gonna start saying that I've read 22 chapters so far and I'm not giving it a solid 9 since I don't wanna rush it, but I'm loving this manga.
I'll keep it as simple as I can:
This is a very shoujo manga but the main characters have something other couples in the same genre don't: COMMUNICATION SKILLS. They express their feelings and thoughts clearly, which is sth rare in this genre and usually it's used to create misundersating and give somes sense to the plot, but many times it's simply frustrating.
The female lead, Hotaru is an honest and caring girl but not in the
...
stereotypical way and I appreciate it.
The ML, Hananoi, is more controversial:
At first he might seem a bit "obsessed" with her, but truth to be told, I've read TONS of shoujo and this is nth in comparison with the usual trope.
The "obsessive guy" trope is very common and it usually displays aggressive behavior, or an unhealthy way of approaching. More often than not, the obsession lead to the guy to jealousy in great doses and making him act in creepy and stalkerish ways.
This is so not the case with Hananoi and let me highlight this: he's totally respectful of Hotaru and never crosses the boundaries, and it's repeateadly stated by him that he wants Hotaru to feel comfortable and to follow her pace, and he keeps his word.
This guy is simply depressed, or at least that's what I got, and he clings into his ideals of giving himself entirely to love, which kinda reached my heart. So he does some "crazy" things like waiting for her 2 hours early or looking for her brooch in the snow, but he always respects her and states in clear words what's going on in his head, which it's essential for me to enjoy their relationship. Yes, Hananoi is very enthusiastic about going out with Hotaru, and he assumes his way of demonstrating love may be deemed as intense, but he never pretends otherwise and they spend actual happy quality time together.
This is not "the relationship is full of drama but let's pretend it's a happy couple with a panel of sweet words and a kiss" kind of romance and it feels like a breath of fresh air.
Having said that, I wanna add that the art is gorgeous and the story is developing smoothly.
Overall, I' enjoyed it quite a lot and I hope it keeps up this way.

The first thing I read when I entered to the manga site was a thread with the title "Most stupid ending ever!". As I kept looking, there were more similar titles. "It can't be THAT stupid" I thought. When I was almost ending the story and I saw it was getting nowhere, I thought it may be true... And it actually was.
It wasn't all bad though, it has its pros. I think the art was very good and suits this type of manga, some of the characters were pretty cool and I found it kinda enjoyable, since I'm a shoujo lover.
But to sum up, it's
...
a simple story, already seen before, very short, with some comedy, wanna-be drama and a reaaaaally stupid ending. So, if you like simple shoujo, some reverse harem, you have a lil' free time and low expectations, go read it. If you don't, look for something else.
(Oh, btw, I have to admit I loved the extra story, Watashi no Sugar Baby. I wish it was something separated, it'd have a better score.)

Well, what can I say? I found it really cute and enjoyable. However, there're some questionable points. But in the end, it's a nice manga.
Story: Mm, let's say that the questionable points focus mostly here. It is a simple story, with a simple development and quite a simple ending. The fact that I didn't know who I wanted the main character end up with, and then finding myself disappointed of her decision, and how she suddenly got there, well... talks by itself. We've already seen similars plots, and sometimes the reactions seemed a lil bit too exaggerated to me, and sometimes not enough. Anyway, it
...
wasn't bad either.
Art: I think the art is great, specially character's. The bgs and else were good too, but I found Sumino, Aoi and other characters particulary adorable. At the beggining I had my doubts about it, since maybe Hinata and Teru at first sight didn't look like the good-looking guy that they were supposed to be, but as the manga moved forward I totally fell in love with characters design.
Character: Since it's such a short manga, the characters didn't develop much, but I feel that there wasn't much to develop either. But each of them had a marked personality and we can see how the main characters deal with them in order to progress. Some of them were kinda clichéd, but I think they're fine.
Enjoyment: I don't have much to say here, I just enjoyed the manga as the shoujo-lover I am. It's actually cute and I don't feel it was a waste of time at all, but of it isn't all that memorable or deep, it's just entertaining.
