I did not know what to expect from reading Punch Up. but from the first volume, I’m got hooked,

What I liked the most about Punch Up is the relationship between Maki Motoharu and Ohki Kouta is nice and playful. I liked that they discover a sexy scenario together and they were naturally attracted to each other. Both Maki and Ohki learn to trust each other and make a procession in their relationship.

The manga is creative with its layout panels. The character is good looking and has a quirky personality. Maki acts like a horny, silly teenager. He is 31 years old.
Ohki is often a reserved ... character. He can get aggressive and punch anyone who crosses with him.

Maki and Ohki are like chalk and chess but together in the bedroom they are hot! The sex scene does not shy away from male parts.The drawingS is clean. It has a distinctive style. Overall this manga is highly recommended for high smutt level and good drama.

One of the classic anime! I remember watching back in 2002 and I was captivated by the mains characters and the action scene. 17 years later, rewatching in 2021, it still fantastic! One of my all-time favourite vampire anime. unique to other vampire anime. It has a great action scene, good amount of gore and violence needed. (The Hellsing Ultimate is more extreme) The voice casting in this anime perfect! The animation is smooth, well-drawn. it was created in early 2000 but the animation is still quality. the soundtrack is so cool and fitting to the anime

It took a different direction from the original ... story in the manga. It was interesting that they decided to change the storyline. Perhaps to make the story more plot-driven. It still had some great action scene. Especially the fight scene between Alucard and Alexandra.

Alucard is dark and deadly! and his voice is sublime. He captures the whole essence of the anime. Alucard is the vampire that stands out throughout the whole series. he far the most intriguing vampire, with a lot of presence and power.
Seras appearers less annoying. this anime focus on her personal story and her learning to become a vampire and being part of the Hellsing Organisation. Alucard is not harsh towards Seras. he tells her the reality of her fate.

The Hellsing (2001) It might seem outdated to some but this was the anime that made it famous before the OVA Hellsing Ultimate. Would highly recommend watching both the Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate.

MADK Is such a twisted, dark and fascinating manga I have ever read. The drawing is fantastic, some of the panel are drawn with artistic gestural line work and expressional emotions. There are few panels where there a lot of etching to create a dark intense mood. But the rest of the manga, The lines are light and fluid.

The storyline is extremely intriguing. Reading the first chapter got me hooked. I had a feeling the storyline would be bizarre.
Makoto has a fetish for eating flesh. He is a strange boy who is interested in cannibalism, serial killer and roadkill. society would judge him for ... having a disgusting hobby. He hasn’t committed any crime but he felt like a criminal. He is aware of his dark desire but at the same time, he doesn’t want to harm anyone. He feels truly conflicted with himself. He summons Archduke J, a beautiful, flamboyant demon. The demon asks Makoto what he wishes for and Makoto said he wants to eat demon flesh. The Demon was shocked by his request but accept it. He allows Makoto to eat him alive. Also, Makoto has sex with the demon while he eats him.

The demon fulfils Makoto dark desire then takes Makoto to hell with him. The demon took a liking to Makoto and make Makoto his pet demon.
The Archduke J is sadistic and dominated toward Makoto but at the same time, he can sometimes nice to Makoto. It a strange relationship between them. It not a pure romance between J and Makoto, it more sexual, lust relationship. The sex scene is extremely erotic and raw.

I think the character is interesting. they all have hidden background stories. I like the designs of all of the character too.

There is a lot of content that will be problematic for some reader as it has a theme of gore and non-consent. Which some reader will find disturbing. So I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone. But If you like darkly twisted fantasy story then I highly recommended MADK.
I’m very interested in volume 2, will Makoto surpass J? How would J feel when Makoto become a real demon or will the relationship status change?

I enjoyed MADK by Ryo Suzuri, it’s a 9/10 for me. I’m so glad Sublime Manga published this manga MADK in English.
