An ambitious project that spreads itself too thin. At the core, the story is about the way music is able to help connect us with ourselves, our community, and society. It starts when two amateur musicians have a chance/fated encounter that leads them to form a musical duo. The core message is wholesome, and the world is enjoyably depicted. Welcome to Ghost Mansion is a fun supernatural comedy that feels similar to TV shows that have monster of the week episodes. There doesn't seem to be many overarching plots besides Shinonome's attempts to lure/capture ghosts in order to make them her tenants. The characters in the story are enjoyable, but many of them aren't overly fleshed out in terms of their background or understanding their motives. It seems that is something that will likely be conceptualized hopefully as the story continues, but for now it is mostly silly ghost hunting. Art: The art in this title is good at times and other times it feels a bit muddy or unrefined. There are many interesting-looking characters and places within the story. There is some nudity in the art, so that may be off-putting to some potential readers. The art never reaches Berserk or Vagabond levels, but there is certainly a unique style and overall it works well.
