Story:
The story goes as follow - Yuji eats a finger and it just happens to be the king of curses, The jujutsu world sees him as a Danger to humanity and sentences him to death but before that he is allowed the chance to collect all the fingers of Sukuna then die - saving the world in the process.
Animation:
As expected of MAPPA the animation is some of the best animation seen of the entire year of 2020. MAPPA have proven themselves this year ,to the anime community, and everyone knows now more than ever their animation is some of the best in the WHOLE animation
...
industry. I never thought that I could cream my pants at such a beautiful draw dropping scene of Upside down Kakashi literally ripping of someone’s head with his bare hands(this is a joke I love Gojou). This anime does a perfect job of blending CGI and 2D animation perfectly- not even noticeable unless really looking for it- and the animation in the opening( CG in particular) is jaw droppingly good, yes JoJos level CG OP good. The fights, the choreography, the facial expressions everything is how I would have imagined it form the manga, they do a lovely job at faithfully portray the unique Jujutsu Kaisen art style ( like what they did with SnK - unlike WIT) and even improved on it making some meme worthy scenes from the manga 10x better and extending fights to the point where they aren’t too drawn out but just absolutely perfect - anime onlys were definitely in for a treat with this anime.
Pacing:
The pacing is extremely fast paced , at first I thought it was too fast paced but it definitely slows down in later arcs becoming a lot better in my opinion .However we don't stay in the school setting too long and waste time(like in Bleach) . Not much to say here except it's really good.
Characters:
Yuji Itadori:
Yuji is just so GODDAMN LIKABLE like how can you hate him? His personality is pretty much the same as most Shonen protagonists except he does not scream his ideology or goal every 10 seconds(Asta/Naruto). His character getting his ideology challenged in different ways is intriguing and watching him grow as a character is good as well. He is not just a cardboard cut-out of a character and is unique.
Megumi Fushiguro:
Out of the 4 main characters(Yuji , Gojo, Nobara) he isn't my favourite as all of the others outshine him by A LOT, especially Gojo , but that doesn't mean that I don't like him he's a good enjoyable character. But he only really shines when with other characters . His past is quite interesting when later discovered in the manga and his family is one of the coolest families in the series .However he has one thing , his abilities on the coolness metre , are only second to Gojo in my book.
Nobara Kugisaki:
She is a treat to watch and her personality shines 2nd out of the main four just after Gojo IMO .She is also actually able to fight and isn't the typical helpless Shonen girl who just cries for help (Sakura) and isn't and annoying Tsundere who just abuses the MC(Noelle).
Satrou Gojo(u):
Definitely the favourite character of the whole series and for good reason too his personality is great , his design is great , his powers are great and his ambitions are great too. It’s interesting to see him struggle with being the strongest Shaman and having to bear the responsibility that if he dies the order of the world will collapse and how he prepares the future generations for it - which we don't see often in Shonen and I wish we did with other stories like Naruto.
Sukuna:
Sukana isn't the bog standard demon inside the protagonist that they eventually make friends with and become a crime fighting duo (Kurama/Naruto or Liebe/Asta). Sukuna is pure evil, tormenting Yuji whenever he is present, killing his friends and innocents. Basically vomiting atrocities whenever he slips out from Itadori. His character is really fun to watch because whenever he is present you already know the kill count is going up no matter what or Yuji is going to get traumatised again - however Yuji usually grows from it and develops as a person. Sukuna almost has a pseudo-positive influence on him - he obviously has an influence on him seeping as he changed his whole life of course. As a manga reader I can't wait to find out what they will do with his character and i hope that he stay pure evil and doesn't turn good(like Kurama) as I think it would ruin his image as the sadistic two-faced spectre…
Adaptation:
The Jujutsu Kaisen anime is pretty much perfect adaptation of the manga. Not much being skipped and it has the same vibe pacing and feel to the source material. The budget is also very large and the studio(MAPPA) is very skilled so no fights are skipped or shortened due to budget. Honestly, to me at least, they are on par with each other - sometimes the anime surpasses the manga. This isn't to say that the magna is bad, it happens to the greats like One Piece (with the walk to Arlong).
Manga v Anime:
If you enjoy the anime a lot and don't want to have to wait for the sequel you should read the manga and keep up with that. However as the anime is such a good adaptation , if you have patience, you can watch that and not miss out on any content and get the same enjoyment. This isn't like other anime(like Black Clover) where to get the proper experience you have to read the manga - the anime is amazing...
Conclusion:
I highly recommend this anime and manga. It's one of the biggest serializing manga out right now and the anime adaptation is a good place to start - its animation and all that shiz is amazing. So whichever version of Jujutsu Kaisen you jump into make sure that you start soon!
Also listen to the anime opening cos that shii slaps

"Light...it hurts. My heart—”
It was a hurt that L. Lawleit had suppressed, that he had to suppress in order to continue his existence as the peerless Detective L.
-M
Introduction:
I didn't even know that this existed until I randomly came across it in a bookstore, and I’m happy I did because this book is a VERY good addition to the Death Note franchise and fans of L. AT first I was confused because I had heard of a movie with the same name and heard it was pretty average. So, when I heard that this was a retelling of that movie from a friend, I was a
...
bit disappointed - luckily, it improves on all the flaws the movie has.
Story:
This novel is set in an alternate timeline where Light dies (it is never explicitly said how only hinted at) and L “wins” the battle of wits. L only has 23 days to live due to the Death Note and with a world threatening terrorist group on the run he has to take them on and save the world with the help of his associate all before his untimely death.
Writing:
The writer “M” is very good at painting vivid images of both the high-octane action scenes and the heart-breaking emotional scenes. This book's writing is amazing and will have you in tears while reading it (especially at the end). Sadly, I am not a writer so not much I can really say hear because I’m not the most knowledgeable on the subject.
Pacing:
The pacing is good. I never felt like things were progressing too fast or events dragged on. Everything felt like it had the perfect timing. All my questions were answered at the end - the ending didn't feel drawn out. No complaints here.
Characters:
L:
I really loved L in this novel seeing his thought process for all the insane actions that he takes sometimes is a treat to read. We get to see the more human side of L who usually comes off as a robotic detective - we get to see the darkness he holds on his shoulder and the trauma he carries from all his cases and failures during the main Death Note storyline and previous events.
Maki Nikaido:
She isn't really an extremely deep character and is definitely not on the level of L and Light - but she is extremely likeable and has good chemistry with L and the other cast members. Not much can be said about her without spoiling lots of main plot points, so I won't go until lots of detail.
Dr. Mikiko Kujo:
I honestly can't say anything about this character without spoilers. But she is a very compelling interesting character with a back story that we have not seen with any other characters in Death Note. I wouldn't say that she rivals L in ability, but she is definitely in the Top 5 smartest characters in the Death Note verse that we have seen so far.
Conclusion:
In conclusion I recommend this book to any death note fans - especially L fans - as it is a welcome addition to the franchise and if you didn't like the original Death Note ending maybe you will like this alternative ending a little better. It's quite a short read (about 200 pages) so if you don't read (Light)Novels as much as me it shouldn't be a big challenge. In conclusion read this book because it's good as f**k.

Introduction:
WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS SHOW ITS ABSOLUTE S**T. This show is actually bad I don't understand how anyone can actually like this its boring the animation is bad the characters are shit just how the FUCK did this get an anime adaptation. It has NOTHING going for it - maybe that’s why it got a no-name studio with subpar animation. It’s not a surprise that this show has a 5/10 score on Ani List. This is a long intro let's get into the other sections.
The Pros:
Did you read the intro? THERE IS NONE !!
Ok maybe one
(NSFW)
...
The Cons:
Animation:
Not much to say here its shit - how the fuck am i going to get this review over the characters count… shit. Well the studio that animated this season is called “Geek Toys” - what type of sex brand is this - and they have animated such INSTANT CLASSICS such as “Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?” or “Hensuki: Are you willing to fall in love with a pervert, as long as she’s a cutie?”. Do I even need to say anything? Really
However, it does have one good-ish scene
Pacing:
The pacing is ok. Like everything else in this anime, its completely mediocre or worse. Flashback arc was ok on pacing. However, everything past this arc felt very rushed and un satisfying literally nothing to say here it gets a 5/10 on the pacing score. COMPLETELY average
Characters:
Oh, my this is going to be fun because I HATE all of these characters. They are so unlikeable its almost funny - only characters I like is Nana (the dark-skinned girl with the Pseudo Brother Complex.. and a BIG personality)
Licht:
His whole characters is that he was a pervert and had a MASSIVE transformation in to an edgy pervert. This anime tries so hard to make Licht a badass but he’s just a generic edgy character with not much to him. He is unlikable and the flash back arc doesn’t make him any more likeable either. AND ESPECIALLY HIM HAVING A SEXUAL RELTIONSHIP WITH HIS FUCKING NIESE. WHAT THE FUCK JAPAN?!?!?!??!?!?!?
Hina:
She has no likeable straits she’s the MC, she’s a little pretty and she tried to rape Licht. You read that right it happened but we just gone gloss other that I guess .I don’t even want to talk about this bitch no more. Thinking about her is bringing flashbacks of her shouting
“LICHT-SAN” and making me want to commit not alive.
Jail Murdoch:
He’s a sort off edgy virgin whose the silent type and lawful… I think.. He doesn’t really have much of a characters BUT he did have the one funny bath house scene and that’s his whole character. He also has MAD daddy issues.
Lynne:
She is just fanservice , that’s all she always in lewd situations and she can’t fight so you already know she only got one purpose in the story… that’s… P L O T
(NSFW)
Somethings rising and it’s not the shield hero
This is not funny next character
Nana:
She’s dark skin and hot. Done with the characters now the music
Music:
Music is subjective but I think that this soundtrack is average the opening and ending I don't like it VERY mediocre
Conclusion:
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT WATCH THIS IT WILL DRIVE YOU INSANE

No Spoilers Ahead
Introduction:
Now when I heard that a new Shonen Jump manga was getting an anime I immediately though
“Ahhh shii here we go again” and immediately compared it to Naruto after reading the description ,but after reading it, it became apparent that it was anything but that. Jujutsu Kaisen definitely has its own identity and is very different from the run of the mill generic Shonen and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Shonen. After reading the Manga it became one of my favourites of all time and watching the anime has been a treat too - and I believe it could be
...
one of the biggest shows of this decade.
Story:
The story goes as follow - Yuji eats a finger and it just happens to be the king of curses, The jujutsu world sees him as a Danger to humanity and sentences him to death but before that he is allowed the chance to collect all the fingers of Sukuna then die - saving the world in the process.
Artwork:
Gege Akutami’s artwork is very rough round the edges and at first can be hard to get into like Chainsaw Man however that does not stop the art from being beautiful and extremely detailed. The fights are easy to follow and very well done and the choreography is top tier, and all the attacks and techniques have their unique look which look amazing (especially Gojou’s attacks). Speaking of Gojo , the character the designs and outfit design are good giving off a unique vibe to each character and keeping the artwork and characters fresh. However, I do see how the artwork can be a turn off for some people looking to get into this manga - but after about 10 chapters you will not even notice it.
Pacing:
The pacing is extremely fast paced , at first I thought it was too fast paced but it definitely slows down in later arcs becoming a lot better in my opinion .However we don't stay in the school setting to long and waste time(like in Bleach) . Not much to say here except its really good.

Definitely the favourite character of the whole series and for good reason too his personality is great , his design is great , his powers are great and his ambitions are great to. It’s interesting to see him struggle with being the strongest Shaman and having to bear the responsibility that if he dies the order of the world will collapse and how he prepares the future generations for it - which we don't see often in Shonen and I wish we did with other stories like Naruto.
Spin-Offs:
Jujutsu Kaisen has one prequel manga and two spin-off Light Novels however these have no English translation or fan translation available so have to skip these if you don't speak Japanese . They aren't necessary to read , however it’s a different story with the prequel manga. The prequel manga is good and is a good introduction to the characters and world of Jujutsu Kaisen, and although it isn’t necessary right now it is canon and due to recent chapter it might become necessary to read to understand the story in the future. Also Yuta (the MC of the prequel has been name dropped many times by Gojo and Fushiguro and the 2nd year studenets)
Conclusion:
I highly recommend this manga it's one of the biggest serializing manga out right now and the anime adaptation is a good place to start - its animation and all that shiz is amazing. So whichever version of Jujutsu Kaisen you jump into make sure that you start soon!

Introduction:
After seeing that there was going to be a final season too a show that I had never even heard of coming out in the coming season, I rushed to watch the prequels. What I found was a show that enthralled me so much in the world and characters I couldn't get enough and it made my top 10 anime of all time. I could barely contain my excitement for the final season and after watching the trailer I was under the impression that this could be one of my new favourite anime ever. That's where it all went wrong sadly. Maybe I was
...
expecting too much but I couldn't help but feel empty . genuinely saying (when it ended) and I quote,
“ Wait what that's it . its over ? What the fuck ?”
Animation / Score:
1st of all the animation on this season is definitely miles better than the animation on previous seasons and the characters , background and opening are x10 on the quality side .However even though it is so much better than previous seasons I can't help but feel that this is the worst season out of all 3 of them (so it surprises me that on Ani List this is the highest rated season - must be the Yuki Fanboys) .
It's not just because I'm a Yue fanboy that I think that this is the worst season because we got plenty of scenes with her. She might as well have been the MC with all the screen time that she was getting this season and for a second there i thought she was gonna win BUT let's not get into that .
Pacing/ Characters:
First of all in my opinion the passing was off this season and it just felt like we were moving way too fast - like the Prom arc that went so quick- lots of characters got skipped over , just not the teacher and that was an experience to say the least. Now I really hated seeing them - in my opinion- messing up her character like she was high key crushing on Hachiman and it was painful to watch and all the other characters did not get enough screen time for me to even care about them in this season an previous season - maybe it's different in the light novels I don't know haven't read them yet . However Hachiman is still a badass so that's good I guess .
Music:
Now the OP is amazing the ending is amazing and the OST is amazing not really much to say all the music is done really well and its a joy to listen to.
youtube(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAtKRPX0RO4)
Conclusion:
Now I do recommend that you watch this show as it's an ok conclusion to the series you'll probably be disappointed so just read the Novel - at least that's what I've heard.
