Anything that ends with a pro-fash message gets a zero. Despicable, and it makes me even sadder to see so many people praising it.

This series has been on the receiving end of "is it fascist" controversy since the beginning, which from the start I didn't buy, since it seemed to be a series about the ills of nationalism. Oh was I ever wrong. This ended in the worst way it could have and it sickens me to my stomach to see people defending a piece of media so unapologetically sympathetic toward fascism and ethnic cleansing. Though, I guess I shouldn't expect much better from such ... prolific anime fans. I guess I had hoped to see better on here.

In the future, try to be a bit more critical of the media you consume outside of "story good/story bad." You may find yourself accidentally supporting media that endorses some truly despicable ideas.
