I watch a lot of good and questionably weird anime, so I wanted to give this one a try. And thank god I did. This one right here is one of the absolute best portrayals of the teenage phase I have ever seen. Some might say Oregairu, but I would say the show is too unrealistic with its characters, and that is a discussion for another time.
And fair warning, the characters here aren't likable or normal by any means. Which should be the norm given they are freaking high schoolers!
Plot: 10/10. After the absurd number of animes that focus on the minority of those mature

I can't be happier this season.
First of all, this series is a fresh breath that I didn't know I wanted but much appreciated nonetheless. The concept of an isekai reincarnated MC helping someone weak achieve something thought unachievable is a first and this series explored it to the fullest. The MC acts like a proper dad figure for the girl and the girl is also well written. Her determination is admirable and I can't express how much fun it was seeing her. And the world-building? For an anime in the 7.5 to 8 region, this is pretty interesting and diverse. Especially considering that the ending was supposed to be very rushed but was very well executed, this anime was a worthy and good watch. I am assuming you have read through the synopsis and are okay with spoilers. If not please turn away.
