...then you might like Summer Wars add

It is the same director handing almost the exact same storyline. The art styles are also very similar with bright colors and sharp contrast. While the Summer Wars is the better stand alone film both tackle the idea of us all being connected online and if you really like Hosoda's work you can't miss out on these two.

...then you might like Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song add

One character acts like a android, the other one is an android. Both explore the lives of those around them and through their experiences grow personally. Some great animation in these shows as well along with some great emotional moments and OST's.

If you liked Dirty Pair add

...then you might like Taiho Shichau zo add

Buddy cop kind of series with two main heroines. The banter in between the two is very similar and enjoyable. Lot's of action in both of these too. It should be a crime to love one of these and not the other.

If you liked Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor: On Television add

...then you might like Taiho Shichau zo (TV) add

Very similar settings. Both are about daily life of Police officers and have a good balance of slice of life comedy and action. Very lighthearted and the only noticeable difference is that one has Mechs in it.

This exactly the same show. Cute girls doing cute things with military vehicles. Except one of them has more water than the other.

Both are testaments to show that fully CG anime aren't always bad. Both have interesting worlds that make you want to learn more about the setting.

Both shows are about a group of girls who try to do something exciting and go on an adventure. They show the struggles that come with trying something and the rewards for doing so. Both are great motivation to do something you've never done before and explore the world.

Both shows are focused on the protagonist and how popular they are. Both are comedies and nearly every joke has something to do with the protagonist.

Both shows tell us exactly how much work goes in to making some of our favorite anime/manga. Each show goes into detail about the process of making both. After watching both shows you will have a deeper appreciation for anime you watch and manga you read.

Both shows start with very similar premises. Akiyuki and Renton are very similar characters that start out kinda useless but grow as the event's in the story unfold. Both shows balance Action/Romance pretty well.
