One of the Sleeper Hits of the Summer 2024 Season.
The anime is set in ancient chinese times and all of the terminology and relations brought up about that matter may be a bit too much for you as it was for me at times, but it does not take away from the fact that everybody working on this project was very passionate.
The art style looks similar to 80s/90s anime, but in a very refined and well executed way. The colors are vibrant, the animation feels fluent and alive, and the use of cgi in some parts was well executed aswell and did not drecrease
...
the quality of the Experience.
The Opening and The Ending are both super creative and beautiful and also demonstrate how much love wen't into this.
It was very interesting to see the talent of the Main Character play out in different scenes, and some side characters also had great moments.
That being said, the Story could've been a bit better but it nonetheless is a great Experience I can definetly recommend.
8/10, Thank you for reading my review.

What a goddamn great movie. I‘m writing this fresh out of the cinema. I‘ll try to split the review into some categories, without spoiling. I recommend having seen the first two seasons of the show, but it is not necessarily required as all of the important aspects are explained again.
Animation: 10/10
Wit Studio, Toho Animation, Cloverworks, everyone working on the movie gave it its best. Spy X Family continues to have some of the best animation in the industry. The fight scenes were amazing, the camera movement, every single detail.
Story: 8/10
I‘ll try to spoil as little as possible here. Our family is going on a trip
...
and circumstances lead to them having to complete a challenging mission together. It is predictable at parts, but nonetheless enjoyable. Some side drama caused for very interesting and entertaining plot aspects, The Movie never felt boring throughout it‘s whole runtime. There are some things that did not make that much sense, but these did not harm the plot on a large scale.
Characters: 9/10
All of the characters have their own reason for giving their best to the mission. Their motives and feelings are shown very well and the dynamic between the characters is something the show has done well since it‘s first episode. This Movie is no exception to that.
Music/Voice Acting: 9/10
The Music was also good, a lot of tracks known from the first two seasons of the anime. Sound effects were great too, especially in the Ultimate Cinema Room I got to watch it in. Having it watched in German, Spy X Family continues to have one of the best dubs I‘ve ever watched. More in the Comedy Paragraph
Comedy: 9/10
Comedy is subjective. That being said, not every „comedy“ anime is able to get the majority of people laughing. But the Movie continues to bring jokes that are actually great and had the whole cinema laughing. The german dub did a great job, having a lot of sayings that fit the show perfectly.
Overall: 9/10
It is a great movie I can only recommend watching. Watch It with your friends, your family, your pets, whoever you want to watch it with, I believe the Movie is something that almost everybody can atleast find some enjoyment in. If you disliked the first two seasons, you will probably dislike the movie aswell.
Spy X Family: Code White is a Movie with a great story, god-tier animations with intense action scenes, but with great slice-of-life family aspects aswell. If you’ve read this far, thank you for reading. I hope you liked my review, I‘m still new to writing reviews so the structure might not be perfect, but I am trying my best. I hope you liked the movie as much as I did and if not, thats okay too.
Have a great day!
9/10

What a Masterpiece. The following review is only gonna contain spoilers for S1, no important S2 details. I‘m new to writing reviews, so sorry if the structure of my review might be a bit mixed.
After Attack on Titan ended and many fans of AoT claimed Code Geass to be a similar beautiful piece of art, it piqued my Interest and gave it a try. They weren‘t wrong.
Lelouch is a great Main Character. Cold-headed and smart when needed, but the series does not forget that he is a human with his own vulnerable points too. All of the side characters are thoughtfully crafted and shaped
...
and each one filsl their purpose, with none of them feeling useless. It‘s rare for me to see such a wide cast of characters with their own personalities, influencing the story so much. Their actions are created through their own motives and beliefs, creating the beautiful story I‘ve come to love.
The soundtrack and Voice Acting were great aswell. The German Dub is fine aswell, for my fellow Germans. WORLD END by FLOW is such a Banger, but the first S1 Opening is still in another league.
I don‘t want to spoil any of the story, but the plottwists occuring in S2 even overtake everything we‘ve been shown in S1. The show is brutal, not afraid to take all of your feelings of safety regarding Lelouchs Plans away in an instant. Sometimes it‘s predictable, but most of the time I find myself being stunned by how the plot progresses.
A lot of people praise the ending to be one of the best of all time. And I agree with them. Aside from a few minor nitpicks I loved the ending.
To summarize my review: If you are a fan of AoT - watch it, you will love it. If not - still watch it, it‘s a goddamn masterpiece. Thank you for reading my review.

I’m actually a bit disappointed with this one. I usually really like these types of movies and romance dramas, but this one did not click with me. Lets split it up into smaller aspects and give them a spoiler free rating:
Animation: 8/10
The Animation was probably one of the best things about this movie. While the characters could‘ve been designed a bit better maybe, the backgrounds and lightning is looks very stunning and it‘s an overall very beautifully animated movie.
Voice Acting: 7.5/10
The Voice Acting wasn‘t anything outstanding, the sub Voices were quite nice, but I feel like te dub voices sound a bit too old for
...
the 2 main protagonists.
Characters: 6/10
Both maik characters aren‘t anything special, they have their distinct motives that drive them and lead to them fitting together, but the rest of the characters is completely irrelevant.
Music/Sound: 7/10
Wasn‘t any type of masterclass, but nothing shitty too. I overall thought that the music was good, nothing special but simply good. It elevated the climatic moments.
Story: 5/10
This sadly is the weakest part of the movie. The plot has a lot of holes, skipped aspects, rushed actions and half-done conclusions. The movie felt like it would‘ve needed another 10 minutes for the ending to flesh out better, because the way it was done just seemed to quick and rushed for it to be an understandable one. I don‘t know if the Light Novel is better regarding that aspect. And I also have a few things that set me off that made absolutely no sense, which ruined the experience for me a bit.
Conclusion: 6/10
It is not a bad movie, but also not really a good one. It looks beautiful and is not a waste of time, don‘t get me wrong, but don‘t expect a great plot. I might have to give it another watch, and if that changes my opinion I‘ll edit my review.
Thank you for reading my review.

May contain minor spoilers (talking about appearing characters), but nothing major.
I got to watch it in the cinema and really enjoyed it. Kogami, my favorite character, was as interesting and skilled as always and continues to fascinate me. A thing about Psycho Pass I like in general is the continous critical thinking about their own actions and morals, and this movie is no exception. It seems to play between SS Case 3 and Season 3, and fixed a lot of open questions I had when watching Season 3.
Style: That movie looked incredibly good. Music Beautiful as always, and even though they used a lot
...
of cgi again it looked fantastic. I really enjoyed watching it.
Overall: great story, great characters ( not only kogami, all of them with their different personalities delivered a great cast), great voice acting, great visuals. Makes you think about some things in your life too. I can‘t state it enough, I can definetly recommend watching it, but if you did not like the previous Psycho Pass, you won‘t like that one either.

The Movie is really short, 39 minutes, which may be a bit too short to reach the full potential the Movie could've had, but was still long enough to give me a unique experience and leave me with a feeling I can't put to words.
Music: 9/10 - Really fits the artstyle and the story and is able to capture and endorse feelings very well.
Art Style: 9/10 - In the first moment it may feel like the artstyle is not that good, but it perfectly fits the story and I quickly began liking it.
Story: 7/10 - The pacing was very fast, so the story does
...
not have that much depth, but nevertheless I liked it. The last sequence also is well-choosen, I was afraid they would leave that part of the story unfinished but no, they wrapped everything up.
I would highly recommend watching it, alothough not everyone will like it as much as I did.
For me, It's a 8/10.
