Vinland Saga season 2 is one of the best anime in recent times. A complete 180 from season 1, but in a good way. There is nothing bad that i can say about this anime, from the story, characters, animation, soundtracks, everything is near perfection. The story might starts of slow, but the build up to the next episode is well worth it.
Watching Thorfinn grow from a killer, to slave, to a person with deep convictions is a great. Truly one of the best redemption arc of all time. The side characters also gets recognition, making them believable, alive and has a sense of identity,
...
and the voice actors did a great job conveying the emotions of the characters.
Some people who watched season 1 might be thrown off by how different season 2 is, but i assure you, you'll definitely like this one. I can even dare say it's better than season 1. Thanks for reading

I was quite saddened by how low the score is, it might not be a season 2 of Ousama Ranking, but it still manage to deliver. It was a very decent watch from start from finish. Yuuki no Takarabako focused more on the side stories and what happens in between the season 1 of Ousama Ranking. I think it manages to flesh out the characters more with how they have limited screen time back in season 1. One might think this is filler, but for me it certainly doesn't feel like one.
The animation while not quite the spectacle as season 1 is still fairly
...
good. A bit of spoiler, I like that they use a unique animation for episode 9, very picture book-ish. Maybe some people see it as a major turn-off but it feels like a breath of fresh air to me than the usual anime style. The characters again is the main highlight of the series, each one has their own goals, personality and identity. I love every character in this anime because each of them felt unique and alive. This one stood out for me because I love anime that focuses on characters.
My slight problem with this anime is the world building. It's still vague but we get to see bits and pieces of the Demon clan, but that's just it. There are a few plot point that maybe the season 2 will explain, because there are still a lot to unravel about the world of Ousama Ranking.
Overall it's a must watch if you enjoy watching Ousama Ranking, it certainly stood out in terms of pure fantasy than your average isekai "fantasy" that's been milked to dry these days. Thanks for reading.

Blue Lock is a refreshing take on the anime sports genre. There's no 'all for one and one for all' kind of sportsmanship here, they're playing based on their egos and they are not afraid to talk shit to each other. watching the first episode will definitely make you hooked. However, there are a few things that I want to point out about Blue Lock starting with the Pros.
The pros:
The story starts of simple, the MC Isagi Yoichi got invited to join the Blue Lock project as a candidate to be the best striker in the world. The premise and how the story goes plays
...
similarly to a battle-shounen type of anime, with the power system being the Blue Lock rankings and the "weapons" that they use being a soccer skill. Every match feels intense as if you're watching a real soccer match. The characters are fairly interesting and have different motivations and backgrounds that made them stand out. The openings and endings are a banger, really makes you not want to skip it. The voice acting is great, and there's a lot of veteran voice actor in the anime
and now let's talk about the cons.
The cons:
The first episode has really good animation but as the time goes the animation gets less detailed and less fluid. The use of CGI is more apparent especially on the 2nd cour, and there's a lot of still shots and weird use of effects that makes it more jarring to watch. I don't get why the change Isagi's blue aura in the earlier episodes to green, which is a weird color choice for me. Certain important moments became less impactful because of the less detailed animation. When you draw a comparison between the manga and the anime, the manga easily takes the cake.
Overall Blue Lock is a good adaptation, although the animation may not be the best, I say they adapted the the manga pretty well. I just hope they adapt the Blue Lock vs U-20 Japan with better animation because it's one of the best arcs in the manga.

I wasn't hoping this adaptation to be good, I read the webtoon and seeing that Netflix is making an anime adaptation of Lookism, I was a bit worried it might be a terrible one, but boy was I wrong.
For a Netflix adaptation, Lookism is a pretty faithful and good adaptation, there's a few things missing from the adaptation such as Jin-seong's date with Mi-jin and others but other than that, it's really well done. The animation might not be the best but it still looks good, my only problem with it is a random use of CGI, like why would they do that? The story
...
doesn't feel rushed, it flows smoothly and it depicts the bullying, both physical and verbal fairly well. I'm sure newcomers to Lookism will enjoy it even if you don't like K-drama or K-pop. Too bad it's only 8 episodes, I really wanted it to be like 4 episodes longer, but this makes it easier to binge for how short it is. I don't really get the harsh review for this show even tho it's not THAT bad. I'm not really hoping for a season 2, they did set up quite a few things for season 2. I hope they decided to continue it because they're doing great with this adaptation. I recommend reading the webtoon if you're interested about how the story goes but I feel like PTJ strayed too far into shounen territory after like 200+ chapters.
Overall, Lookism is a good anime, you should give this show a go with how interesting the story is and an accurate depiction of bullying and different treatment based on how you look.

Not gonna lie, I did not not think I'll enjoy this anime when I first heard about it. I just decided to watch it on a whim, and guess what? I enjoyed the hell out of it. It's been so long since we get an original anime that's not from an LN or Manga. Lycoris Recoil is fun and enjoyable for those who likes a simple premise and beautiful animation. Let's get to the details shall we?
First off, let's talk about the good stuff. I really like the characters, The way they talk to each other feels genuine and real, and props to the VA's
...
for making the characters feel alive and enjoyable to watch. Hearing Chisato talk really makes me grin like an idiot cuz how bubbly and energetic she sounds. The music is also good, We have ClariS singing the opening and Sayuri singing the ending, 2 of my favorite singers combine, what more could you ask? The animation is fluid and crisp, very easy on the eyes as expected from A1 Picture. The action scenes are well drawn and fluid, also the slice of life aspect of the anime adds a nice balance to the action and drama of the anime.
Now on to the bad or the mid if you can call it that. For me the story is probably the weakest points of the show, it's predictable, and doesn't really have big consequences overall. I don't really consider the story "fresh" or "new" because they didn't really provide something new or special. Furthermore, I kinda wish they show a much bigger threat from the antagonist, but instead we get Majima. Tbh at first I was like "seriously? THIS is the main antagonist?" and was pretty disappointed as he looks more like a goon. But still, he proves to be a pretty enjoyable antagonist albeit not on a grand scale.
Overall, it's a pretty sweet ride from start to finish. The characters are good, music is good although the story might be the weakest part, it doesn't stop Lycoris Recoil to be one of the most enjoyable anime this season. Newcomers might like this one, but to someone who's been in the anime business for a while, you might wanna sit this one out.
Thanks for reading my review
Have a nice day ^^

Usually, an anime adaptation from a video games are usually a hit-or-miss for me. I expected this anime to be either good or bad, but man, was I wrong. This is anime is one of the best anime I've seen in a while. I don't really play Cyberpunk 2077, but even I enjoyed the hell out of this show. You don't even need to play the game to understand the anime, but there are some references to the game that might interest those who played Cyberpunk.
The anime has great animations, as expected of Trigger. It's bright, It's wacky and it has style. The story
...
is so good, you'll get hooked just by watching the first episode. The music came straight from the games, but there are some original songs from the anime. The characters are all lovable, It's great.
You need to watch this anime, You don't need to play the game to get the story, furthermore, you'll have a blast watching it. This might not be the best review I've written, but I hope this helps you understand the greatness that is Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

I recently just watched this movie, and all I can say is i had a blast watching it. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is tense, and at times, breathtaking. But, there are a few things that I didn't really like about in this movie. Few spoilers ahead.
Let's start with the good parts, the animation is absolutely great! The way they animate the movements of the cursed monsters, the fight scenes and even the way they all move in general is top notch. I have no complain whatsoever in the animation, and when the fight scene starts, the music hits just perfectly to match the hype of the
...
fight. Speaking of music, the sound in this movie is insane, the way they blend the music with the fighting is great, and the sound effects are also very good. They make Rika 10x more scary in the movie and that's fucking great. I got goosebumps every time they show Rika in a scene and how they handled the voice is just chilling. The story is pretty good, it's not mindblowing or anything but it's still enjoyable. The main villain Geto is also good, and showing a bit of his past with Gojo adds more weight to his actions.
And now the least good part, I honestly didn't really like the protagonist, Okkotsu Yuta. He's just average in terms of shounen main character. Because he is also voiced by Ogata Megumi, I can't help comparing him to Shinji from Evangelion. They're pretty similair in terms of personality, except that Yuta is like a less complex protagonist than Shinji. He's just so basic that I can't really connect to him. Also, I don't know what happened to the side antagonists that Geto recruits. It's just as if they disappeared near the end, even the heart nipple guy didn't show up for the final battle (idk why I remembered him at all). They also didn't really explain how Yuta can use Inumaki's power, and all they can explain is that "Yuta is so fucking overpowered he can copy other sorcerers cursed technique".
Overall I greatly enjoyed watching this, I didn't really like Yuta as a protagonist but at least the supporting characters are more interesting than him. The animation also helped a lot, it's tense, epic and breathtaking.

This is the most stress inducing anime movie I've ever watched.
I watched this with my sister at the theater, my sister thinks this movie is great, but not me. This movie is so poorly written, It hurts. The story looks like it was from 2 different anime mashed together, I really enjoyed the opening scene of the movie, it's beautiful, the song is great and the animation is stunning. But when they introduced the Dragon, oh boy, things started to get downhill pretty fast.
One thing that bothered me is the plotline of the movie. It feels like the skipped A LOT of stuff and it
...
left me feeling confused. Like, how did Suzu managed to run into her old school while linked to Belle? and how did Belle and The Dragon suddenly have a moment together even tho there's no build up to it at all? I don't really get how Belle got so attracted to the Dragon, they just seem to went along with it without Belle having no real goal to find out about the Dragon. They just want to put in elements from Beauty and The Beast and it felt so forceful. They didn't really explained much of anything and the characters felt boring to me. Well at least they showed Suzu's past and made me symphatize with her but that's just it. The climax is one of the most confusing thing I've ever seen. How can the abusive father of the boy (Which is actually The Dragon) got so scared by Suzu just by being stared at and ran off pissing his pants. It doesn't make any sense. And then they just left it conclude like that!? WTF??
The saving grace of this movie is definitely the music and the animation. The world of U is animated beautifully and the CGI doesn't look stiff. It felt colorful and expressive. The musics are also great, probably the main highlight of the movie. The real world animation is also good.
Overall, I felt tired watching this movie, going home from work to watch this is not helping at all, It Just gives me more stress. The plot is so bad my head hurts. But at least it has some moments that made it pretty enjoyable.

The anime adaptation of Blue Period is by all means, not a bad adaptation. But, it's also not a great one. I read the manga and watch the anime to draw comparison to the two and I must say, they skipped a lot of contents. But, I still enjoyed the anime.
The characters are great, they are very relatable and you grow to like these characters as the episodes go on, I can't find one single character that I dislike in this anime. Yaguchi is one of the best written main character I've ever seen. We can see his struggles and doubts from start to end
...
and you can't help but cheer him in pursuing art. The characters are the bread and butter of this anime because all of them are so well written. The voice actors also helped them become more believable because the voice acting in this anime is great.
The animation is pretty decent, but it's not that great. I don't really mind the animation that much and it's still enjoyable.
I like the opening and ending, it's catchy and it perfectly captures the feel of the anime.
The main problem of this anime is the story. I'm not talking about the story being bad, but certain pacing, scenes and even character screen times are cut in the anime. Those cut scenes help to build up the situation so it can give much more impact and the anime cuts it which is a bit disappointing. Episode 1 has a good pacing for a start but after Episode 2, it all starts to become fast and confusing. They also cut some monologue and the art explanation is not as thorough as in the manga.
Overall, I still enjoyed this anime. It might not be a great adaptation, but it's still a decent watch. I might stick to the manga more after this.
Thanks for reading.

I didn't think of much when i heard about this anime. The premise seems nice, and even Production IG is on board to animate this anime so i might as well watch it, thinking it might be interesting. But as i watched the last episode i have mixed feelings about this anime. Spoilers ahead.
First of all, the title Kaizoku Oujo or Pirate Princess is a bit weird. I thought that Fena, the main heroine would command a group of pirates plundering and finding treasures whilst deepening their bond. But instead she has a crew of samurais, who is tasked with guarding Fena and finding "Eden".
...
It doesn't even sound like she's a pirate and the only pirates i see in this anime are the pirates that are hired by the main antagonist Abel, which is odd. The story goes from action-adventure to mystery and supernatural near the end of the anime with a bit of romance put on top. The sudden story shift near the end makes me confused and all felt rushed. I liked the first episode, but as the anime goes on, i got more and more confused because the anime basically doesn't explain everything that well. The story seems to play it safe so that they have a happy ending at the end. Even when everyone at the ship disobeyed the Goblin Island chief's order to save Fena, they seem to don't mind and let them run free without any lasting consequences.
The characters felt flat to me with them having sets of personalities attached but no depth. They're just there to follow Fena and nothing else. They don't have any goals or motive other than to follow Fena. It's a shame that they serve no other purpose aside for being a side character and helping Fena without them actually having any benefit. I like the antagonist more than the main cast because they showed his past and motives making you sympathize him. But at the end, he's just another antagonist and the writers just decides that he needs to die which is a shame.
The best part of this anime has got to be the animation. The animation looks fluid, the lips are sync properly with the va and everything looks beautiful. The character designs are also good and i have no complains for the art.
Overall, i did enjoy did anime a bit but everything felt short and rushed. The story is confusing and the characters fell flat. Only thing that's good in this anime is the animation and sound which is good imo.
Thanks for reading^^
