Both are about half ghouls adapting with human society Both stories focus on how the protagonists discover and utilize their nonhuman characteristics to become stronger and strive towards their goal. Kemono Jihen's protagonist comes to terms with his apotheosis much quicker than kaneki Both mangas have a more darker atmosphere to them, but Kemono Jihen is a bit more feelgood whereas Tokyo Ghoul is more realistic and gritty.
