Murenase Seton Gakuen have a unique story, which reader should not compare by how 'real life' works such as those characters and whole environments. This include like the plot, and how's un-logically characters works on this story. First reading experience, the story is easy to understand but there's a few plot-hole or something like "why there's only female character who have human-face, therefore male character (especially side-character) have animal faces except Mazama Jin as main character. Well, let it be don't ruin the fun or the story. Perhaps this story is mixed about reality and fantasy, which is readers should not compare with.

Characters is quite ... clear, and understand-able. Sometimes I need to do 'google' some term or new information like certain animal behavior which implemented on this story so I just curious "is it true?" Well, you know the rest. This manga have some slice-of-life genre, so you'll get used with it.

This review is about to tell how's reading experience before even watching the anime adaption

The story is quite well-written, story slice-of-life like this is really enjoy to read by meantime. I'd rather to read this by time, not try to do 'fast reading' but try to enjoy the story such as how each character developments going. Also, the story is easy to understand. There's no difficult term or confusing plot, it was like reading a diary but in manga's version. Recommended when reader need a wholesome story, no complicated conflict, and also male-reader can imagining about "what if you have a girlfriend like Shikimori.".

Short review, like others 'ecchi' anime. Viewer may shouldn't watch this serial together with family, remind that 'fanservice' ingredients somehow appear (even there are some scene which according to me, maybe 'fanservice' are not necessary).

Long review, here ya go.
Prison School have an unique than other anime which have same genre (ecchi). The story plot in this serial is kinda interesting, if you ever had watch film that tells about the strategy about how to escape from the prison, so this anime is somehow kinda similar story telling about (except the fanservice).

What makes serial Prison School is different than other anime is about story ingredients, and ... character developments is well-build-ed, so the viewer can still enjoy the story while 'fanservice' may appear in some condition and know the story how about each male character (which they being as main story also) progress regarding episodes that tells about. Five male characters have their roles in each story or conflict, may I say this anime which contain 12 episodes instead tells about how they (5 male characters) find out strategy about to escape, in fact they also experiencing each conflict.

Each male character have their conflicts and solution, for example Kiyoshi that teamed with Gakuto about find out way to temporary escape just for business which makes Shingo feel jealous. Then another conflict/problem also following Shingo that gang up with deputy head of the student council, and much more. Every conflict-inside-conlict makes the story interesting. Not to forget about this serial is 'ecchi' labeled, so each episode have 'fanservice' that may appear. You guys may can guess, which character that contribute 'a lot' about fanservice-ing this story. Lmao.

This serial have total 12 episode, quite compressed storytelling, interesting story and viewer may did not expect and guess about "ah they may escape somehow". Of course the story plot tell about how they do strategy to find a way, so they determine about their fates. Escape from the prison literally, or even accept worse punishments.

About "fanservice", there are no commentary even more. But quite unfortunate, this serial just only 12 episodes, so there are no information even more about student council member's fate. Maybe there are information further in manga version. Fanservice in this serial is quite acceptable, but maybe there are some situation or scene which regarding my experience, fanservice maybe little bit too intense. To be honest, they shouldn't needed to detailed about the fanservices. Even each member in student council may quite enough for. But that just an personal opinion, Prison School still enjoy-able to watch, even for who just wanted to know the story.

Before I know this manga, I also read 'Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san' which also focused with their two main character. Nishikata with Takagi at school days. But when I still on-progress reading that manga, I had know author also make another story which tell stories which they both already married and have a child. Reader should read "Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san" which according to my experience is more exciting wholesome story. The story is easy to understand, there are no long text in each balloon monologue or dialogue so reader should experience easy reading even the story also easy to understand.


Honest review about this story ... is very light, easy to understandable, each chapter have short story which contain explicit meaning that usually Takawi will tells the reason why she's always tease Nishikata (and now their child also like how her mother teasing habit). Reader will taken by a straight story which have no heavy conclict, that makes this manga is recommended for read while chilling time or just relax. Different with another manga that contain complicated conflict, this manga doesn't contain about 'heavy conflict' instead just like arc before (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) but the background is about how they already an adult.

It was fun about reading experience, sometimes I laughing by myself because reading some chapters. Also there are few chapters that contain deep meaning such as how parenting works, and the reason why Takagi tease Nishikata in meantime. This manga is suitable and recommended to read while you feel like exhausted and want to find a light story manga which contain no heavy conflict.

This manga is suitable to read while resting, or chill reading remind this story is easy to understand. There are no foreign term (so that you need to open dictionary to understand in what context). To be fair, I'd rather choose this kind of story rather than other romance or slice of life stories. But for people who likes a challenge, or a conflict in a story so this manga is not for kind of that people. There are no villain in this story, even if there's a conflict it just a teasing or kidding.

What exactly author wants to tell? What exactly happen within conflict happen, if happen how to solve them? It just like author stacking lots conflicts in this story but it have no idea how it is done. Even adding more conflict so reader may quite confused like what? But those critic review may can be forgotten because the art is good maybe rather like erotic doujinshi manga.

About the story
Because this manga contain up to 5+ volumes, storyline may unpredictable because reader may think "oh there's a problem/conflict perhaps the next chapter/volume will give some explanation ... to solve" but in fact, they don't. Which means, the story is stacking conflict and in the end, is just like throw it all. Tbh, I kinda disappointed for the ending.

About the art
Yes, it is good art. Perfect for the story which contain a lots an a lots erotic things. The author perhaps better make erotic manga tho.

About the character
The MC is well deserved, kinda dumb. And the heroine, dunno why feeling deja vu when seeing Rikka. Especially on last volume.

Personally, enjoy the art. But the story, perhaps it doesn't. Because it's kinda confusing, thanks to translator which can well-translated dialogues when they doing erotic things too. Keep in mind, this manga contain NTR things. Why I feel like deja vu when seeing Rikka...

Review the story, characters, also how the author tells the story with the readers. Like the title, mostly this manga is about how the MC (main character) meets Gyaru and then makes a relationship until falls in love with one of those gyaru.

The story is quite effective, each conflict can be solved properly so reader can get satisfied about "how the conflict goes in, and how it is done". How author can solve the conflict is quite interesting. Well, as we know this manga contain fan-services in each story or even situation. So reader should ready about to accept each fanservice’s scene in every conflict.

About ... the background, setting, place in this manga starts from how highschool’s daily life and continue to the next step academic which they (each character) experience how’s being a college student. Don’t forget, they also get a conflict and fortunately it doesn’t too deep which the conflict can get easily solve so that doesn’t need long chapter for one conflict. The background also well illustrated, especially about how they (girl characters) wear is slightly different at they still in highschool. Reader may experience slightly difference appearances of every girl characters after read until 14th volume.

About the characters. This manga can give well ‘n contrast explanation or representation personality each character. Start from Hashiba as main character, which he’s pure (virgin, perhaps?), and then Yukana which have thick gal appearance, also Hashiba’s friends (didn’t remember their names tho) which held important role as supporting Hashiba to getting close within girls. Also, each character development have their story or progress. Like Yukana, or Yui (when you take a glance at her, you may think she’s antagonist) well they have each problem until they can ‘improve’ being better character regarding to the story plot.

But there are few chapters or volume, which the story may quite bland so reader can ‘predict how’s the ending’. Maybe it doesn’t matter, because only few story. Overall, Hajimete no Gal is suitable to chill-reading, the story is easy to understand (not complicated). Keep in mind, this manga contain fanservice, so it isn’t recommended to read when in a public space.

The story is easy to understand (rather quick to understand) because the conflict are not too complex. There are few character and each chapter have their plot that connect another character, for example Maegami with Ai-chan which both have story connection in few chapter so reader will realize the setting of this story are same timeline, and that makes this manga are recommended to read. But there are few contra, because each chapter is easy and rather too quick, reader may experience about "is this really done yet?".

Keep in mind, author can connect each character stories so reader who have curiousity about one character (for ... example: Maegami-chan), the story is continued in another chapter (after few chapter which also tells story about another character).

This manga is considerable to read because

2. quick understandable dialogues each character (not too complicated)
3. author's drawing style is kinda exiciting to read
