The first thing I must say about this - it's very bad.

But it is the perfect example of "barely readable", "mildly ineresting" adventures that keeps the ideal balance between two elements - enjoyment and boredom, without one of them reaching you enough to feel any emotion. The recipe is:
1) Hollow cardboard characters
2) Something happens? I guess?
3) At least nothing too horrible to point out

Despite my statement that it's bad, it's far beyond the scale of "good or bad" beacuse of how mediocre it is. I just wanted to convey that it's not worth your time. You should try this ONLY if you have literally nothing ... better to read.

This is the single worst manga I've seen in a long time, if not even ever. It's rich coming from me, who is a big fan of stories with such premise - "Powerful sorcerer reincarnates in the younger body with his powers intact". It's really simple, fun concept, and you can't possibly screw up such a basic story... Or can you?

To be fair, I must start with the only good thing - the art looks very nice. Action scenes are pretty and distinct, wide pages could be even called beautiful. But...

I can't even call the story bad because there is none. Things just happen without ... any reason or consequence. Pacing is beyond chaotic, and there is not even a spec of originality. Author does not shy away from doing something irreversible to the characters just to perform a so-called "Ass pull" returning things to the previous state in the very next chapter. Characters themselves are just hollow shells brought to life by their uncontrollable desire to gasp at/being scared of MC's power. Their designs suffer from the very bad case of "Good guys are pretty, bad guys are ugly" syndrome. What makes it even worse is overly detailed and far too exaggerated facial expressions of "evil guys being evil towards MC" which is a common thing I've seen in Chinese manga. With all this, author's attempts to create dramatic situations are just laughable.

I'm writing this review from the perspective of a person who equally values plot or adventure in a fantasy manga such as this. If one is absent, having another is plenty for my abundant enjoyment. Here both are absent, yet I had some fun laughing at how bad this collection of tropes is, and I want to recommend it as a rare "one of a kind" failure. Out there might be more things as bad if not worse, but this is a first for me. As you can see, this trainwreck of a manga sparked in me some passion to pick it apart, so try for yourself, maybe it's not so bad? Just kidding, it's dreadful.
