Kore wa Zombie desu ka?

A guy's peaceful life being turned upside down when girls from a different world come to him. Seems to be only ecchi/comedy, but actually have a deeper meaning about friendship. Some action here and there. Neat animation. Personally liked Sora no Otoshimono more, though.

Durarara!!

Everything is ocmpletely different, but the feeling you get while watching Durarara!! is the same as the one in Dennou Coil. In both of them, character development in great, there are some amazing plot twists and both of them are looking more into what happened in the past (Celty's head vs. Who's 4432) then what will happen in the future (eg. in Naruto you're wondering if he will save Sasuke or not). If you liked iether of them because of the sotry and plot twists, you're definatelly gonna adore the other one as well.

Shion no Ou

It's true that Shion no Ou is about shogi and that Death Note doesbn't have anything to do with Shogi, Go, Chess or any game; however, there is the mystery plot. Besides, isn't Death Note like a shogi game between Raito and Eru? XP

Both animes are mystery-solving, although Spiral is more realistic than Death Note (without Shinigami stuff). Everyone who enjoyed Death Note will sure enjoy this 25-episode puzzle solving anime! You gotta watch it ;)
